Hi everyone,
I’d like to propose an idea that could make watching live matches in ManagerZone much more interactive and exciting: allowing real-time tactical changes while watching a match live.
Currently, once a match begins, managers are passive spectators relying entirely on pre-set tactics and conditional rules. While conditional tactics are useful, being able to react dynamically to what is happening on the pitch would take the manager experience to the next level.
How it could work:
Quick Tactical Toggles: Ability to switch between pre-saved tactics or adjust team mentality (e.g., Attacking, Defensive, Neutral) on the fly.
Live Substitutions & Role Changes: Make manual substitutions or adjust set-piece takers during the live view.
Fair Play & Engine Stability: Changes wouldn't happen instantly—they could take effect at the next stoppage of play (out of bounds, goal, foul) to ensure engine stability and fairness.
Limited Adjustments: Limit live tweaks to 2–3 per match (or per half) so managers have to use them strategically.
Why this would benefit ManagerZone:
Dramatically Increases Engagement: Gives managers a much stronger incentive to tune in and watch matches live in real time.
Deeper Strategic Gameplay: Adds a layer of active decision-making and timing instead of total reliance on pre-game setup.
More Thrilling Moments: Successfully turning a game around with a tactical shift mid-match would feel incredibly rewarding.
