Maybe this could be changed and improved. For example, similar to the youth academy where you can make changes at certain points of the season, the sponsor options could also be re-selected at the start of each season. This would give managers a fresh decision every season: which sponsor to sign with and what “objectives” to commit to.
Sponsors could offer different types of bonuses:
- Performance-based bonuses: winning the league, finishing 2nd–3rd, securing survival, winning the play-off.
- Individual performance bonuses: top scorer, most assists, most MVPs.
- Mid-season challenges: undefeated season, 5 wins in a row, fewest goals conceded, most home wins.
The key would be to make this a real strategic decision:
- If the team reaches the agreed objectives, they would receive an extra bonus at the end of the season and could renew the contract.
- If the challenges aren’t met, the manager would have to pick another (or a default) sponsor next season.
Such a system would add a new layer not only financially but also tactically. At the start of every season it would be an exciting choice which sponsor to sign, what goals to take on, and what level of risk to accept for the chance of higher bonuses.

What do you think about this system? Do you think a seasonal, goal-based sponsorship system would make ManagerZone more exciting? What other challenges or bonuses could you imagine that would make the game even more colourful?
I’d love it if everyone could share their own ideas and suggestions – whether about bonuses or sponsor packages. Feel free to post what you’d like to see!
