In early May we will roll out an update which will allow you to to see skill maxings and player talents on the results page in the transfer market, without having to visit the player's Training Graphs. As part of the update, we will also make in important change: it will no longer be possible to sell players with hidden Training Graphs. All transfer listed players will be shown with talents, maxings and Training Graphs visible.
This update is being made with two key goals in mind:
Simplicity and Usability: We're always working to make ManagerZone more user-friendly. By showing key information upfront, skilled managers can now quickly assess a player's potential and value, making the transfer process faster and more intuitive.
Fair Play and Transparency: We think transparency is essential for a fair and balanced marketplace. This change ensures players are traded at prices that better reflect their true value. Whether it's overpricing players with hidden weaknesses or transferring underpriced talent "under the radar", lack of transparency often leads to frustration and imbalance. This update aims to help prevent that.
If you have thoughts about this coming update, you are very welcome to share them here!

What would be more interesting is a control of player sales. I don't believe that a team can make so much money to be able to buy players at exorbitant prices as I see happening. For me, there are fake teams set up to buy mediocre players for high amounts so that later, whoever sold them can have enough capital to maintain a high-level team in the game. This would be easy to visualize, because the comparison of the squad's expenses cannot exceed the revenue generated by the team, and the team that manages to maintain itself by selling mediocre players must be involved in a big scam.

Translating:
I liked the work the Crew did to end cheating. It is already clear in the transfer market that player sales are more balanced and in the long term it should generate good results for those who play fair. I believe that the change in the transfer market will make cheating even more difficult, making the game even more balanced. If you know a older MZ player who stopped playing because of cheating, let him know that it is time to give MZ another chance.

Not sure on making maxings and stars counts visible without having to click into the reports. Whilst it simplifies the process, I feel like a big part of what makes the transfer market great is having to spend time to uncover talent/ key unmaxed skills.
I just want to acknowledge that fact that this is a good argument, and it is something we've discussed quite a bit internally. Some managers who don't mind spending lots of time digging through data in search of undervalued gems, might find that practice a little less rewarding now.
But we do have to consider the amount of grinding (as in performing repetitive tasks) that this causes, and try to figure out a decent balance. You still can get an edge over other managers just by checking the transfer market often, and by being skilled enough to recognise undervalued talent. Persistent and thorough managers can still get rewarded, but hopefully in a more entertaining and less laborious way than before.

This would turn into a "first come, first serve" kind of market which would not favor those who try to build a long-term strategy, by building their economy, making smart investments, etc. That goes against the very core mechanics of ManagerZone. Honestly I could post a very long reply to your comments because this is a huge discussion, but I will just leave it there. 😊

I just purchased a player and the approximate salary shown on my winning bid was $12k per week. When he arrived today his salary was 18k. This is a 50% increase . As i stated before the numbers are not even close.

the__champ (FA) - 15-04-2025 14:10Could you introduce a max bid option, like we see in online auction.
Like two ways of bid.
Normal as now where you bid a certain amount and it change to that.
A max bid option where you put in your max bid. And Then you automatic out bid if another bid until you reach your max Price.
Like player listed to 1 mill But you see you cant be there at deadline. You value him to 3 mill.
Then you put in your max bid to 3 mill. Then the system bids 1 mill for you and you are the current winner.
Then one manager comes and over bid you to 1.1 mill. Then the system automatic place a new bid for you and you are now winning at 1.2 mill and so on Will it goes until your max bid is reached and Then it wont bid more for you.
This is a Way you Can compete when deadlines is out of reach for you.

capibaribe (RA) - 18-04-2025 16:10Considering that one of the goals of this change is to make life harder for cheaters—especially with the planned updates to the market interface—I’d like to reiterate a suggestion I previously shared on the administrative forum.
It would be extremely helpful to include a simple button that allows users to flag suspicious sales. This button could appear both on market listings and on the bids page, as well as on team pages, making it easier to report farms as well.
Clicking the button would open a modal where the user could add comments and explain the reason for the report. This approach would be much more effective and user-friendly than the current ticket system.
From a technical standpoint, the implementation could be quite simple: it would only require the creation of a single table in the database to store these reports—or alternatively, just two additional columns (in JSON format) in the existing market table.

I like that option. It would make the cheats reporting process much faster and probably easier to put several cheaters on Crew's radar.
There should be some minimum requirement mechanism though so we don't have too many reports being spammed. How are the known cheaters abusing the bids on the total trash players? Maybe there needs to be a bid higher than a certain % of players value to enable the report button?

Saludos

Yes, clubs in smaller leagues can reach the top in their country more easily, and this has certain important benefits. But on the other hand, their player market is much more limited (due to foreign player quotas, as you mentioned) which means they become more reliant on home grown talent. An elite manager in Andorra may npt be able to have both a Senior and a U21 team, both packed full of top talent, like a manager in Argentina have. The Andorran manager also has to think harder about how to compensate for players that are missing due to training camps and the like, because their own homegrown players has to step in when key players are away.
In Andorra, we can't even buy our own domestic players because you set the same purchase limit regardless if the team is in a big country like Argentina or in Andorra while these markets are completely different.
In my country we constantly buy/sell players to each other even from teams on the same league and this is not cheating, it's just that there are very few teams to get domestic players from (in Hockey we are just 3 teams, where are we supposed to get our players from??), yet we keep getting market warnings and purchases blocks that prevent us from fighting for our few good domestic players whom always end up in foreign teams not because of a higher bid but due to we can't place an offer.
If we have a different foreign players quota between big and small countries, there should be a difference in the amount of domestic players we can buy from the same domestic teams.

100% correct! its crazy to have the same limit to buy a player between clubs from poland and sweden and same for very small nations with 5-10 active teams! because when you have only 10 teams in your country its possible to have more than 2 players from the same team! this must change

kabini - 27-04-2025 04:35If others state their reasonable wishes here, I´d like to post a wish - or better a question here too:
Why this top-price-limit when selling a player?
I have a real good player but cannot sell him with a realistic start price:

4.5 millions (euro) ?
Is there any (good) reason for this limation?
Cause if I´m lucky - the right time, people have the money ready etc. I´ll get my 15/20 millions, if not, I earn 4,5 millions °?°
This goes together with the unrealistic werth of the MZ-players, it stopps wit 1.3-1.5 millions, no matter which player ... => this is far from reality.
I´d be happy, if players would show a realistic werth, hands realistic starting prices would be possible automatically ...
So is there a good reason, don´t know: fairness, programming or whatever?
- why that isn´t done already since a long time?
thx in before!
