Event Paths update - discussion thread

We recently released an update for the event: - Instead of acquiring rewards from the event shop, we're introducing a brand-new reward system: [b]Paths[/b]. - We are also adding two brand new Chips as part of the Paths update: [b]Youth Exchange Chip[/b] and [b]Super Scout Chips[/b]. - In football you will be able to gain new [b]tattoos[/b] and a new shirt [b]pattern[/b]. - Plus, for those who want to progress faster, you can now play a [b]custom-made amount of matches[/b] in one go. You can still gain a total of 20, like before, but there have been a rebalancing. Previously you could get 4 each of Availability, Efficiency, and Time Saver chips, and 8 Freebie chips. Now you can get 4 each of Efficiency and Freebie, 5 Time Saver and 7 Availablility.

Hi, I see that to advance toward purchasing all the tokens, I also need to buy scouting matches. Currently, in addition to the 15 monthly tokens, I have another 103 unused scouting matches. I wanted to know if I could exchange them for some training tokens, game tokens, some extra points in the League, a grape Manaus, or at least an old issue of "Locuras de Isidorito" (or, failing that, the Argentine Playboy issue with Silvia Peryou on the cover). Not sure if this happened only to me but I completed the Exploration Path and the Loyal players from steps 6 and 7 (1+2) didn't come. It is getting a little out of control. You need to spend a lot of money in order to get all the chips you would normally get in previous events. Yes, there are more rewards available but you also have to get all those you might not be interested in but they are mandatory because they come first. Personally i am thinking about giving up as i am not willing to spend so much money on MZ, but i will give it a chance this event and see how it goes. I just get a feeling this might be too much...It is getting a little out of control. You need to spend a lot of money in order to get all the chips you would normally get in previous events. To be honest, the amount of money buying all 4 packages seems fair, and it is not like you need to buy them every week or month. Also, if that money means future improvements in the game, let it be.

There is nothing fair about being charged up to 10 times more for the same package depending on the country where your account is located. The price you pay in Brazil is probably 4 times less than for me in Australia. Switzerland and Sweden pay less than Australia England and The USA so the cost of living is not the variable on this extremely unfair pricing structure.

To complete each round cost 1000 coins. With the previous system, you could collect 4 availability chips for (880 coins - 190,210,230,250). If you choose the Victory Path, you get 7 (!) availability chips once completed. It will cost 1000 coins which is a little more expensive than the previous system.

yes, you can save the chips for later seasons. You can send seniors to the traning camp for free.

I don't know the exactly values for each country, but even if Brazil pays 4 times less than Australians, Brazilians earns 6 times less than Asutralians, on average.

As someone that never spends money in those events and wait for the timer to play the matches, it just became way harder to get the chips I want, because now I have to get things that I do not want before I get to the chips I want. I've one question, do you have the ability to adjust your tactic in the 10 scout matches you get from a super scout or is it all with the same tactic? Well it works to see if a tactic is consistent with the results, I suppose it should help calculate your odds of winning if you're certain your opponent will use a specific tactic, so if it was a very important match I would use a few normal scout games and then validate my tactic with the superscout. I rather get something more useful than this like training chips and stuff, but this is how I would use them.

Super Scout Chips can be activated when playing a scout match (you should see it appear in the scout match dialogue once you have a chip). This will trigger 10 scout matches against the selected opponent, and if you check the Full Match Statistics tab in any of the matches, you will find a link to a page where the stats from all those 10 matches is compiled. So basically, if you want to try out two different tactics against an opponent, this chip will let you try those two tactics very thoroughly. Regarding freebie chips: We have rebalanced the chips, in part because we saw that certain chips seem to have more value than others (based on patterns we've seen in previous events), and in part because we have added transfer assistance to one of the paths and wanted to decrease the amount of indirect team money that's possible to earn from the event.

Haha we can't switch them for a magazine, I'm afraid. Scout matches are handy when you try to determine which tactic you want to use. A lot of "research" can be made on your team to figure out the best position for your players, so the scout matches are typically quite popular among MZ users. If you don't really use them, you might still want to save them for the future. They don't expire, so you can hoard as many as you like. 😊

There was a problem with the cache causing a delay in the loyal player arrivals, but it is now solved. Everyone have received their loyals, and they should arrive quicker from now on.

Yes it is possible! It is actually a little bit cheaper (less badges needed) to collect all chips, compared to before. And you will get all the tattoos, a pattern, and lots of other fun stuff as well.

We have looked at patterns from previous events and we've tried to maximize the fun and rewards, even taking into account those who don't wish to pay at all. For instance we have made sure that the mega pack is accessible for everyone, with a moderate effort. That means you can choose one path that fits your current needs and focus on just that one, and you will get a bit of everything, while also focusing on a certain type of reward and gaining more of those particular items. The idea behind the paths structure is to give a benefit to managers who have a clear, strategic idea of what their team currently needs. People who are well organized will be more rewarded than others.

We have looked at patterns from previous events and we've tried to maximize the fun and rewards, even taking into account those who don't wish to pay at all. For instance we have made sure that the mega pack is accessible for everyone, with a moderate effort. That means you can choose one path that fits your current needs and focus on just that one, and you will get a bit of everything, while also focusing on a certain type of reward and gaining more of those particular items.

The idea behind the paths structure is to give a benefit to managers who have a clear, strategic idea of what their team currently needs. People who are well organized will be more rewarded than others.

Which device and browser are you using? Can you please try with another device or another browser? There are no reports from other users that this isn't working, as far as I can see.

4 availability chips used to cost 880 badges. Now you will need 1000, since you have to complete the Victory path. But by completing the victory path for a 1000 badges you get much more than just the availability chips, since you will also unlock the victory package as well as the grand reward. Which means you would get all this: - 7 availability chips - 15 super scout reports - 2 time saver chips - 1 efficiency chip - 1 freebie chip - A tattoo - A pattern - 3 instant matches So it doesn't really make sense to compare the new system with the old. You will get a lot more with the new system, but you need to be more selective and strategical when it comes to picking your route forward.

Yes, the bonus is based on the highest level you were able to achieve, at any time during the event. So if the best team you were able to defeat was the level 15 team, that is the bonus you will receive. It doesn't matter if you slip down and end the event on level 10.
