Loyal players

It's time to let us sell loyal players at certain age.
Even in real life, most of loyal players will leave to other clubs when they become old

31 or 32 y.o for example ?

Honestly, the whole idea of these loyal players doesn't make sense to me. One just gets 20-something year-olds out of nowhere (while others are developed as youths) and they claim to be loyal, not wanting to be sold. Imagine in real world, a player would say "I'm loyal, there's no way I'm leaving the club", but the club responds "don't care, if you don't want to be sold, we will release you". I think any player would pretty much be ok with being sold in this situation, given that if some club is prepared to actually spend money on him, it reflects that the player is valuable.

Even beyond the wording, I don't even understand the initial purpose of "loyal players". It creates a random advantage and decreases the market activity. I've never seen any value in that feature. It's not even a help for new managers. So I wonder what the reasoning is.

Unless there is some performance advantage to being loyal, not seen that myself.

Loyal players are a way for MZ to gift the manager some players without offering an additioal opportunity to make money. These players are often crap, but if they happen to be good or bery good they could be transformed into millions of dollars. I guess that's considered too much of a prize of the lottery.
Actually they are more about a restriction than a benefit. They just are named beautifully, but sometimes could be of use nonetheless.
