Hi
I don't know about you, but, these last seasons i'm getting only rubbish young players.
All of them get maxed early at speed, or stamina or both (6-7-8).
Only one player has 9 at both right now.
If no speed or stamina is shown in HP, LP potential, should i keep the player and count on luck or try to find a better one?

Same. Basically, I never expect a 3HP player to reach more than 8 balls in skills other than HP, as it happens very rarely for me. 4HP are more promising, of course, but 3 seasons have already passed since I had my last 4HP youth.

You're not alone in getting mediocre players. It's been the same for all managers. Occasionally, you'll hear about someone landing a stellar player, but typically it's either a latecomer with 9~12 total balls or an overdeveloped youth with a laughable scout report.
You should just stick with the best options you have. This, of course, will depend on which attributes you value the most or find the most influential across various competitions. Personally, I think it's pretty harsh to dismiss a player simply because speed and stamina aren't highlighted in the scout report. This doesn't necessarily mean the player is subpar.

This is also what's inflating the transfer market. Very hard to train great players yourself now so they are bought instead and in very high demand = prices crazy high

Would you risk keeping a player with 1 star LP? I tend to only keep him if his HP is 4star.
