A decent piece of communication from the "Crew". I have been away for a couple of years but this never happened back in the day.

Thank you Crew for letting us know your plans/light road map for the upcoming months!

SIM SIM NEW SIM WE NEED SOME SIM UPDATES LIKE YOU PROMISED SEVERAL SEASONS AGO (Broken promises), CURRENT SIM IS A DINOSAUR THAT HAS NOW FOSSILIZED , DID I SAY WE NEED SOME SIM UPDATES OR A NEW SIM SOMETIME THIS YEAR WILL BE NICE THANK YOU.

You will soon be losing all funding from me, if there are no updates on the SIM during 2023. JAN 1ST 2024 is when all funding will stop and I will just go with U18's and play for free. Ive already done this on hockey side of this game U18's only no funding ever again until I see dome updates.

Severely pissed off customer.

No innovation makes any real sense if they don't do something to curb the amount of multi-accounts the game has. Mz needs to make it a little more difficult to create a new account, otherwise the number of VPN accounts will continue to multiply, it's already absurd.

Finally πŸ‘πŸ‘ thanks Crew. Much more needed though, like hooterman said above, a new sim is vital πŸ‘

I think everyone knows the current sim can be approved (trying to be polite as possible)especially when wings is so dominant.

Personally I don't know why they don't release a slightly updated sim every season or 2 and let us know the changes they have made. Like football manager do when they release an update.

I know they don't like changing the sim as they lose managers but my opinion is if they don't change it they will lose managers.

yeah, thank you crew for letting us know your plan, keep it up in this hard situation :)

I hope "making statics pop out more" is not just revamping the layout of the stats page, but adding more relevant metrics.

E.g. In hockey, there are no defensive stats that are collected on the match screen.

I'm not going to say the SIM is bad or good, the SIM is old and boring because we had the same SIM for about 12 years already, there's nothing new to discover, no new tactics or fresh approach to the game as everything has been exhaustively analyzed already, every little trick that can be discovered has already been discovered so there's no point in even trying by now, just copy/paste the 3/4 tactics most experienced managers know will work and you're good to go... if you're a newbie or lazy you can even use the "clone" tactic extension. I had fun with training and discovering new rough diamonds but that also has been taken away by the "tinder scout" system so.... It's the equivalent of playing "football manager 2010" which even though it is a very good manager game, I wouldn't be playing it in 2023.

Anyway, don't want to sound negative and I appreciate the intention, it's nice that they get in touch with the community and share their plans but for a manager like myself that's on "stand by mode" waiting for a new SIM the news are dissapointing.

This should be treated with the highest priority, not some dumb cup pages or federation updates. Don't get me wrong but the number of farm accounts which transfer money to main account is outrageous and it takes forever for anyone to do anything with it. This is the reason why I don't even look at U21/U23 and senior level. This is also one of the reason why so many people are tired of the game. It's against the fundamental rules of MZ.
I know there's a saying "don't bite the hands that feeds you", but seriously how much longer can CREW ignore transfer market cheating?

There are two very simple steps that shouldn't be too hard to implement into the game and many people including me would very much appreciate at least short communication regarding that.

What can be done?

1) Account verification via phone number. This should greatly reduce the number of "lazy" cheaters as you would need to verify your account before accessing transfer market.

2) Downvote system, which would allow GA or whoever is responsible for the transfers to check the most downvoted transfers (example: 20-30 downvotes and then transfer needs to be checked, before processing further).

Those suggestions are taken from polish forums, because we have an ongoing discussion about the number of cheaters found on transfer list. Believe me, it's incredible.

I'm willing to make a petition and share it across all the countries and maybe they will eventually take a look at how corrupted transfer market is in the current state.

Regards

Yeah I agree with all the cup pages and federations stuff, not sure what the uses for them really other than the mid season tour thing which includes them but i've never seen the point in doing it. I think the transfer market cheating is probably a lot more rampant in bigger nations because I don't think i've seen it on the english market other than 1 team that keeps listing terrible players all the time that never get bought

It's very easy to stop 90% of cheating and specially MUs, just ban VPNs and that's it. I mean you should be able to occasionally use a VPN without triggering a ban but when you create an account through a VPN and then always login into the account using a VPN never disclosing your real IP that's a whole different story.

Also they need to use a totally different criteria than what they're using now, pretty much like the SIM the internal criteria for detecting and preventing cheating is from 2010 which means it's totally outdated, in 2010 there were no VPNs, people didn't use their phones to login into MZ using their mobile networks, etc. etc. etc... I made plenty of propositions over the years on how to improve all this but unfortunately none of them was ever implemented or considered, as a matter of fact a GA now is a lot more limited and has less information than just a few years ago.

Well can't tell you much but something similar is already implemented and it doesn't work as you would expect but quite the contrary, many GAs don't have a clue about the market, to know the market you have to be an experienced user on a top division and quite simply there are GAs from lower divisions that have no clue about prices.

What they need and I proposed multiple times is an specialized team with deep knowleadge of the market with the only task of monitoring and controlling and that could stop a transfer with the push of one button without having to jump through hoops.

I wasn't waiting for that, but ok for a beginning of improvements.

Nothing similar to what filipek4 proposed is implemented. What you mean? Yes, you can report player to support but no one does that cause it requires too much effort + it requires more effort from GA's side so my guess is such reports are getting lost/ignored. Report/dislike button would be so much easier. Of course some limitations should be implemented like max amount of reports user can do in a day/week or something similar.

Report buttons are present in almost every game nowadays I don't know why it can't be added to 22y old game?

I agree that separate group or role for GAs that know transfer market would help. Giving control over market to small group may cause some risk though.

I kind of missunderstood you, I meant that there is an internal system in which admins downvote and upvote transfers, doesn't really work as intended as all transfer markets have their own particularities & not everyone has a good understanding of the market, also some people knows very well the market for senior players but have no clue about Uxx player prices and viceversa, it's quite a mess.

Also there is an automated system to bring to the attention suspicious transfers to GAs but again, thanks to the downvote/upvote system sometimes transfers that should be stopped go ahead and others that are fine are stopped as 75% of the GAs need to downvote a transfer before it can be stopped.... so trust me, it's a system that might sound good in theory but is really bad in practice when you have a bunch of people with no market knowleadge upvoting or downvoting transfers.

So in a gist, having even more people upvoting/downvoting would only add more noise to the mix, that's the reason I said they need a small specialized team to deal with the transfer market.

Btw... I'd like to propose once again that users should be able to edit their own posts at least for the first minute after posting to correct simple spelling & formatting mistakes....

If similar system already exists then it is good starting point. I don't think we should compare it to the proposed one. We don't expect from GAs to be experts in transfer market or to sit there and look for sketchy transfers every day for entire year. I almost never buy players but when I can't sell 20y defender for 40k and see worse getting bid for 647k (https://i.imgur.com/Oxfcsn4.png) I would like to report it. There is much more players that know current prices well but don't have time (and don't want) to be GAs. Why shouldn't we give them tool to help GAs ?

This would help finding suspicious transfers but there is still question what is next requirement for such transfer to be stopped. Did you mean that 75% of all GAs in MZ need to click downvote button? That seems to be far too much. It would make much more sense to have a static number of GAs (from different countries) to stop transfer. What this number should be is difficult to tell but I think it could be figured out. Or we can just allow only "specialized" team to vote.

It's 75% of the GAs that bother to vote which is usually just a couple of guys, also keep in mind that price is only one variable, price alone is not a reason to stop a transfer and only suspected cheat transfers are stopped as other parameters are taken into account before stopping a transfer.

In any case, is quite easy to determine if a transfer is suspicious or not based on different factors, right now I see legit transfers being stopped due to poor reasoning and obvious cheat transfers go through easily and the problem is that GAs are poorly trained as many of the MAs in charge had very little training or experience themselves, the problem originated a few years ago when crew decided to slowly eliminate all the experienced MAs including myself and replace them with people that basically do what they're told and never argue or propose changes.

I don't know, I try to be positive and still hope crew will change the direction soon.

The recent message has basically just bought them a few more months of paying customers because people love hope.

I've been here 2 years and I had players tear me apart when I said wings was dominant. The game is beyond broken. Its literally pathetic.

Not paying another penny for this game ever. Fact. The community have been disrespected for far too long.

Yet the hopefully optimistic ones will continue to play. Everything is broken

Wings
Pixels
Training
Finances
Cost of membership which increased lol. That one is the funniest of the lot.
