When to stop sending players to training camp (regarding age)

Hello everyone. I need your opinion. What is the best practice to send players into training camp (TC) from aspect of how old they are?

What are your opinions when to stop sending players into TC?

For example, I am still sending them to TC even if they are 22 yeras old. Is it worth it?

Thank you...

It all depends on the players, your ambitions and intentions with the player.

I send my 23 year olds to camp but I'm in the top U23 leagues so I send them with availability chips and they still develop fastest without me losing them to camps.

If your training them for long term then you should camp until there training is too slow for it to be cost effective 22/23 usually.

If you are selling to make profit then finding a player with a few good unmaxed skills, pitting him in a training camp and a season later selling will help get you more money. If the cost of the training camp won't cover the costs then there's no point camping though.

Many different answers to your question. You'd only camp a player ever if you A. Intend to keep the player mid-long term or B. You're wanting to make money of them at some point. No other real reason too. Don't waste your money camping average players

I understand. I have been struggling with this for a while. I just came back to the game after a 10-year absence, so I am still very low on my budget.

I am training some players and hoping that they will be an adequate replacement for some of the players growing old, and another reason is to try to sell them when they reach 24 years. Our Transfer Market is not a big one, so we always need to have backup players.

To give a reply on your opinion "If the cost of the training camp won't cover the costs then there's no point camping though." I have a similar calculation in mind.

Thank you for your opinion. It was very helpful.
