What's been going on for the last couple of years? England doing OK?
Who is in the running for NC?
It seems very quiet on the English forums so I guess English soaking countries aren't going great currently

The forum is completely inactive. There's a massive lack of community engagement which is lead from the crew and all the assistants. Unfortunately it's just dead space now

I'd love to run for it one day but I've only been playing 8 months, still enjoying the club game too much. I do wish the forum was busier though!

England seem to be hit and miss at seniors depending who we get in the last 16 but there is a talented squad there.
As for u21's, we have our moments but it depends on what is available at the time.

It won't be me, despite being an NCA for so long.

You are right. The forum isn't active anymore. But that's also because most of the active users talk through whatsapp or discord now.
(I miss the times when the Internet was packed with active forums though.)

England team has punched above its weight recently imo:
We were unlucky to go out in the QF’s in extra time last major tournament (heartbreak) & we reached the final of the unofficial inaugural League of Nations which saw us beat some of the top teams this season.
Doneman & Ashley have both given the squad good consideration and health without letting it creep into a veterans pool like other national sides - which means it’s a decent setup for whoever takes over.
That said, sadly due to our low user base we’re always going to be a level below the top countries bar a couple of hard fought results.
I’d encourage anyone to run if you have the time to put the scouting in (needed), source/ monitor players and try to be proactive in conversation with teams developing good prospects.
If you do the above you also learn quite a lot about how top teams setup/ wing counters and what players work in what positions which can be quite rewarding at club level.
Best of luck 🤝
