Transfer market control

The way the transfer market was set made sense at the beginning, but as the game has evolved, the TM expenses should be reviewed to better match the actual game. I see managers in the game who buy and sell a lot of players and forget about building a team and competing. I would personally make some changes to discourage TM hyperactivity and to promote training your own players.
1. TM tax for players put for less than 100.000 should be free of charge
2. From 100.000 and up to 3.000.000 should be exactly the way it is now, but I would put a maximum tax of 30.000 instead of 5.000. This way, if you list your player at a very high price, over the market place, over and over again (I see some players who were listed 20-30 time without getting a bit), at a certain point, it will "hurt" your pockets. Listing a player 10x at 3.000.000+ and not selling it, would cost 300.000. Fair enough, would avoid over listing.
3. There should be a maximum limit of the number a player can be listed on the TM each season (let's say 10 times, especially if the above proposal is not implemented), also, I would put a limit on the total number of players that can be listed each season (could be 50 listings). This would keep TM "cleaner". Why this measure? Some managers list players at very high prices, over the market, and by doing this over and over again they sometimes find newbies or inexpert players who would buy or accidentally buy overpriced players. This would limit this situation by keeping it a bit more under control.

Hi there,

I myself prefer to train my own players, but I see no harm when a manager prefers to buy and sell players all the time, to have players only at their peak of their ability while getting rid of the deteriorating ones. It is just a different tactic.
I think you are using wrong reasoning for your undoubtedly very interesting proposals.

You could have just said that measures should be taken to avoid players' overpricing and discourage managers from exploiting this situation along with inexperienced users' ignorance, to get unrealistically high (and eventually unfair) profits.

I believe this is the main problem and not transfer hyperactivity. We need transfer activity but with reasonable asking prices 🙂

Nice proposals though 👍

I will charge 6200 + 3% of listed price every time. If the player is sold I return you the variable part.

I mean, I'm dreaming at this point since the site hasn't changed for years, but an interface overhaul that allows you to see a player's listing history could be beneficial. I get the problem that you identified, but I think the buyer also bears some responsibility to do their research, so giving them better tools is better in my opinion than TM restrictions.

I think fhermo's suggestion is great too as it doesn't restrict sellers, but incentivizes them to make a fair listing.

I think it's a bad idea

leave the market and managers alone, instead of more taxes, more game possibilities should be created, such as expanding training spaces, TCs, I would even like to be able to found a subsidiary (like Real Madrid and Real Madrid Castilla, or like the Red Bull teams)
