Bigger tax for Unsuccessfully listing players

I propose a higher tax on listing a player . At the moment the max tax is only $8101 for listing a player no matter how high you set the minimum bid . The transfer market is full of outrageous prices on players that will never be sold . The same players are listed day after day meaning a player can be listed 10 times over a whole month for $80000 . I would like to see a 5% tax imposed if the player does not sell . This would invigorate a clearly dead aspect of MZ . If you lost a player for 5 million then you pay $250000 in tax if he doesn’t sell .

Would there be a minimum asking price where the tax kicks in? Or is the hope that folks would trash rather than list a player with bad potential that few people would bid upon for a low amount?

Great question . I would impose the tax at 1 million USD . The intent is not to hurt managers who are genuinely listing players at fair prices

I fully agree, the transfer fee should be an uncapped fixed percentage of e.g. 1% of the requested value.

Fired players should go into the open market for £1.

I kinda agree that re listing a player is annoying but the market is dead and people in low activity countries like the UK have even less active markets. Meaning good players don't get picked up.

I've listed players for 1 dollar. Not sold. Listed again 1 dollar and a top team has picked that plater up for 180k. Because the good managers know q potential of a players but there are only a handful of teams in the UK who know that or could utilise said player based on their system.

Combined that qith how dead the game is and you don't sell quality players.

World class players are being sold got 1 dollar haha. Market is broken.

But I get what you mean. Hilsea post the most horrific players all the time.

Yeah, your bottom point I fully agree with, floods the market with terrible players all the time which nobody buys just makes it more annoying for everyone else trying to go on the transfer market

I really can’t see any negatives out of my proposal . I would love to know the stats on unsold players but my guess would be over 90% aren’t sold because their asking price is too high .

Too often players are attempted to be sold that aren't worth even their salary. People list them for 3 days at $1 and get no bids yet their salary is $8000 a week. By discarding this player you actually make $8000 (save one more weeks wage).

I think you should be able to auto sell any player for salary. It encourages more people to have youth academies as you can at least cash them for something when turn 19 (I typically are discarding 5-6 players). To offset the minor boost of $$ into the game maybe put a slightly higher tax on the sale of players.

I propose a deposit equivalent of player value when player is placed on market(only applied if asking price is higher than player value)! When player is sold for that asking price then deposit will be returned to user! If not than this money is removed from game! :P A bit radical but simple!
