Last Minute Youth Exchange

If I exchange a youth right when they become available next Monday/Tuesday is there still time to get the catchup YTC and send to the normal camp the next Monday? Had a 16yo max early, and I was hoping to make a last second swap to keep my 16/17/18 balanced for the u18 squad. But I don't want to waste the time on an exchange if they're just going to be shortchanged by missing the first TC.
