Coach Skill vs Player Skill

"Coaches use their expertise to improve your players' training efficiency in certain attributes. Like players, they have different skill levels in each attribute, which are represented by skill balls. Their effects are magnified if their skill level in the attribute they are teaching is greater than that of the players under their guidance."

I'm trying to remember how coach skills work with training...

Is it just 3 tiers for training:
-no coach
-coach, more balls than player
-coach, same or less balls than player

Examples:

If training speed for a player with 4 balls, would a 5 and 10 ball coach have the same impact? Or would the 10 ball coach train faster?

If training speed for a player with 8 balls, would a 3 and 7 ball coach train at the same speed?

Is there anywhere someone has compiled data on training speed differences when training without a coach, with an underskilled coach, and an overskilled coach?

Thanks!

Regarding the "more balls than the player" option, I noticed that 10 balls coach is better than 9 balls coach, but not by a mile. It makes your player train better on some specific days. I don't think it's worth it. So, I don't think 5 and 10/3 and 7 would be the same (but you wouldn't see a great difference either).

Interesting find, I wonder if it is another factor in coach efficiency:

If a coach is within 2 balls (4 ball coach training 6 ball player) then the coaching report shows training with a coach...

If the coach is more than two balls lower than the player (3 ball coach training 6 ball player) then the training report does not show a coach...

Makes me think there are 3/4 tiers of coaching:

Either A
No Coach < Bad Coach (3+balls lower than player) < Okay Coach (1-2 balls off player) < Good Coach (Same or Better than player).

or B
No Coach/Bad Coach < Okay Coach < Good Coach

Time to wait for a few players to gain balls with known coach levels...

I do not have the full set of data you are looking for, But it is possible to pay 3000-> 5500 Euro for coaches with 9->10 in one attribute. I think this is one of the "sweetspots" for trainsers. Average cost for my 9 coachesis around 4000 Euro each, I know about other who have 3000 euro average for his 9attribute coaches but it takes time to find them.

Not to mention negotiating down to that amount.
