Hi managers!
I’ve a doubt…our youth players arrived today so, we’ve to train them.
But, how do we know the best position to train the youth player for?
Is there any way to know that? Or we just try our luck?
Best regards,
Rui Caetano Gordino

The scout report gives you alot of information about player. If he has low potential on tackling train him as striker and vise versa. If the player has high potential on tackling train him as defender and so on. If player doesnt have these indicators showing you will need to guess a little bit but if he has for example ball control, speed as high potential maybe he could be winger / striker. If his low potential is ball control maybe try him out as defender. There is no written rules set in stone but you'll figure it out when you go through your youths scout report player by player.

You should take a look at the scout report, which will show the strengths and weaknesses of each player, like jere92 said. It's good guidance.
Also, players might develop well or disappoint you in areas not covered by the scout report. All attributes not listed as strengths or weaknesses there could max early or strike a chord. It depends and you might have to gamble.
