Tactics bug

Ok, here's the thing: every time a player is suspended due to a red card, the one that ends up replacing him is doomed to stay in the same position until the end of the game.

This fact seems harmless (and it is harmless for the most part), but it's actually a pain in the ass if you like to switch your tactics mid-game.

I will provide an example.

I played a match yesterday and this player 171 was suspended:

As a result, some random bloke replaced him. That's fine. But I was down 2-0 after 30 minutes and I set a tactic rule to switch my tactics to this one if I were losing:

However, 171 was suspended, another player replaced him and not only that: he faithfully remained in the same position until the end of the match. So, this is what actually happened after the tactic rule took effect:

Needless to say, that was a guaranteed loss, given that this situation left a massive hole in the defence. Now, I don't care about that particular match and there are ways to overcome this bug (like removing the suspended player from the tactic), but why is it still a thing? Please fix it 😢😓

Another example of this bug: https://www.managerzone.com/?p=match&sub=result&type=3d&play=3d&mid=1281378918

I started with this tactic:

177 was unavailable due to a red card, so he was replaced by someone.

I went 2-0 up, and there was a tactic rule to change my tactic to this one:

However, my team actually played with this tactic for the remainder of the match…

…because whoever replaced 177 was playing on top of 130. He didn't move to where 177 was supposed to be on the second tactic.

As I said, this mess can easily be avoided by setting a tactic without the red carded player before the match. I didn't because the match was unimportant and I'm already relegated on this competition. The thing is that I'm pretty sure I was going to win the match and it's annoying how it can cost you a match.

It is quite obvious, imo, that the player on the defence slot on the bench should replace suspended players without having to alter anything. I actually thought it worked like that.

__NEWS REPORT__

https://www.managerzone.com/?p=match&sub=result&mid=1430081285&tid=1179721

In this recent match, I had a suspended player that was replaced by other player named T. Tasso.

T. Tasso started as a CDM.

After a few minutes, there was a tactical change, and our guy T. Tasso actually moved to a new position.

So, maybe I am dreaming, but it looks like this bug was fixed :)
