🇸🇪🗣️ Actually I think we got a very hard group but also a very fun group with strong teams like Estonia, Greece and Germany and it will be some very hard games I think. Euro 2021 Seniors on MZ with the French National Team

🗣️ Let's go for a series of 5 group matches to qualify for the final phase

Montenegro (x - not in the top 20 at the previous EURO /81st nation MZ) tonight 26/10 20h ;
Spain (4th at last EURO / 8th nation worldwide) Saturday 30/10 20h ;
Georgia (x/54th) Tuesday 2/11 20h ;
Russia (12th/33rd) Saturday 6/11 8pm;
Portugal (x/10th) Tuesday 9 20h-

To situate our team, France finished 20th in the last Euro (not qualified for the final phase) and is ranked 18th in the world.

There is a clear gap between the relative level of the seniors and the U21. The level seems to me not as good as in my previous experience as a coach. The only player who plays for a top club is Dylan Gregoire, a central defender who plays for Coviolo, in Serie A and especially in the Top Series. Great insight. Shame about small nations. England is too competitive and we are a relatively small nation. But I have slim to no chance at making the prem. But I'll keep going. The game needs shaken up. Maybe a refresh game world.Great insight. Shame about small nations.

Seems that estonia has fallen under new NC! :/ I am actually considering returning to NC position! So be aware![:P] Actually it was something I anticipated. I basically jumped off of a sinking ship to be told honest, as last Euros Estonia had super squad - to bad that some of the best players retired or started to detoriate drastically! I just wonder how well would have estonia done at world cup with the squad we had at the euros! [:P] But the only issue for me is U21..I do not want to manage U21 team! So I would ideally want to separate U21 and senior squad coaches!

That's a great idea to seperate coaches. I don't like to manage U21 too since we don't have players.

That's a great idea to seperate coaches.
I don't like to manage U21 too since we don't have players.

England made the U21 final a few years back against Sweden and a few quarter final places. I'd say we do well as a nation considering our selection choices are not as vast as say Sweden or Poland. 🙂

It is fun and challenging to be able to lead the national team.

We play in a very balanced group. Liechtenstein will probably be the team with the least chance of advancing to the knockout stage. All the other teams can challenge for the top two places. We also have a chance, but it won't be easy...

Now, after the first four points from the first two matches against Finland and Ukraine, we confirm our assessment. Tomorrow's match against the Netherlands could be an important step towards qualification, or we'll have to wait even longer.

We have very good players and, in general, a very strong and balanced team.

Thanks to all the selectors who take care of the training of the players, really very valuable for all the national selectors.

The Swiss community is pretty quiet, it's always the same people who actively participate in discussions. So there could well be more, it would be excellent. But of course, not everyone has time to take care of the national team, and I fully understand that ;)

But there are many teams that do a good job of training, so on that side it's going great.

And finally I want to thank you gordola, really a great initiative here, it's great to exchange here and listen to other managers. And what an active job you do, thank you very much!

- Transpose top club U21-23 tactical + formation xp to the national level. - Also as part of the DTN (National detection technical team), collect select players, advise managers for the TCs to get the best complementary top elevens we can grow, as fast as possible. We have huge xls files with many functions to help.😁 And I keep them up to date in details personally. I was VERY frustrated by the pool of death Chili (future champion), Spain, France as early as in the World Cup ... qualifications. Crazy unlucky agenda This was an absurd collision of top teams much too early on the season. Our attack was maybe one of the very best U21 at least 5 week later. But our first game was against Chili and our defense was not ready at all until week 6 or 7. (Balls were not optimally chosen in the U20 individuals in the previous seasons) As long as I am in charge of the U21 I will never allow this kind of "a bit to late malus" again. This destroyed one full generation potential. (Next in friendlies no nation except Sweden U21 could beat our team) We currently work on our U20, U18, and even best U16 for the next generations to come Soon our defense will be 100% operational 3-4 months in advance compared to the previous genereration. I hope that we also finally get equivalent stars in attack but it is not certain right now. That is a LOT of work.

no, you were right, 12 points for you ;) hehe would have been amazing if we would have won the game against Sweden, but unfortunately the favourite pushed them trough really greatly, even if we weren't that bad in the end... congrats Sweden and good luck to all the remaining teams
