Most of my 1st team members are overplayed although I've never played more that 4 friendlies and 2 official league games per week.
Could anyone please explain why is this so?
Did this change recently?

You played 5 Friendlies with most of your team last week, that’s why

I've played only 2 doubles with Tactic A, the rest with Tactic C which include only youths (not 1st team players)

Well yes, that is as intended. It's one of the 2 weekly doubles for keeping up the form.

That’s the 5th game I could for a lot of those players. Look in your matches again and look at the players that played- I think you played them too much from my quick investigation

So I overplayed my whole team a couples of months back.
Since then I've adopted a 2 league game and 4 friendly approach each week.
However 7 of my squad are not changing from over played.
However their form has improved significantly.
How can I get them back to match fit? Because I previously over played them. Do I need to keep them to 2 league games until they drop to match fit? They wouldn't immediately go to under played would they?

The quickest way to fix this is not play them at all in league games and Friendlies. If they are important players only play them in league games/cup and friendly leagues but no Friendlies.
This will get them back to satisfied and maintain their current form.

No need to add another thread on the topic of form, so I will just add my question here. I am looking to dip into Uxx next season. All Uxx leagues, sr. leagues and friendlies affect form, right? So if I have a 21 year old that plays for my U21, U23 and senior squad, he really dont need to play a friendly? 6 matches. A 22 year old who plays for U23 and the senior team only needs 2 friendlies... Correct?

Incorrect- World league and Uxx leagues only affect form positively.
I only have U21 players atm so they play my U21 and U23 league matches, my senior league matches and senior world league and 4 Friendlies right now and I maintain 9 and above form.

So they still need to play friendlies to not become underplayed..?

Match type Form influence
Senior League (including play-off matches) Yes*
Youth League (U18/U21/U23) Yes*
World League Yes*
Prize or Friendly Cup Only positive**
Friendly League Only positive**
Friendly Yes
Official Cup Only positive**
* = The two first league matches (regardless of type) will influence the players' form.
** = A player that have the status tired will not loose form, but a player that needs to play will improve his form.
---
From the games manual. So only 2 league games per week will affect players form everything over it doesnt have any effect on form. So they still need to play friendlies that they dont get underplayed.
In my own experience. I have 52 players that all maintain 9 form. I have divided them so everybody gets atleast 2 League games and 3 Friendly games per week. So everybody is getting all that sweet experience from these games while maintaing form. 10 Friendlies is possible to play per week so one group gets 4 games ja other two groups 3 friendlies. They are able to maintain their form thanks to the positive effect on form from official cups during the week.

I feel a bit foolish for not being able to find this by myself. That being said, I am very gratefull for your detailed and informative response :) I will certainly take your experience and implement it next season.
Thanks again!

Is the form week from Monday to Sunday like the friendly challenge calendar is shown?
I have a vague memory of form updating on Tuesdays or something.

Hi I'm very new to the game, my ? is when a player is overplayed do you still carry on on with they're training or do you rest them till they get back to normal.

Not 100% sure does resting help the player but I would train them normaly and just play them less in friendlies/league games

COntinue to train your players! Just dont play them in friendly and league matches until they are not overplayed anymore!

6 league/ friendlies for starters Jacko. They can play unlimited Cup games as this only positively affects form. Form is essentially the same as condition. If you manage form correctly then the condition will show as match fit.
If players are 0 on form and overplayed then just play the two league games for a couple of weeks.
If the player is underplayed and 0 form then play them in all friendlies and both league games.
Adjust where appropriate. For example. Let's say all your players were 8 form and overplayed? I'd play them in a total of 5 league/friendlies that week. They should pop to 9 and match fit. Likewise if they show 8 balls and underplayed then I'd play 7 league/ friendlies.
Thats how I'm making my form/condition.
Good luck
