TC negative efficiancy?

Badge image
Hi all!

I have a 23 year old on a TC atm. He has completed almost a week now. On the training field he trains (shooting/heading)with 3 to 4 bars, so quite slow. On TC however, he has 2 to 3 bars!! How is that possible? Better to cancel it and send someone else?

Players their first week of camp will train at their normal efficiency. They don’t increase training till week 2.

Aha! Good thing I didnt take him off it yet. Still, two bars ☠️ What are the % for next four weeks?

Week Training Speed
1 +100% (normal Training Speed x 2.0)
2 +150% (normal Training Speed x 2.5)
3 +200% (normal Training Speed x 3.0)
4 +250% (normal Training Speed x 3.5)
5 +300% (normal Training Speed x 4.0)

This is straight from the games manual. Player should train double the speed without any coaches during the first week. But tbf I have noticed the same thing that players train at the speed or lower than they normaly would with coach. Also some skills train slower depending how much balls they already have in the skill.

Wow, I’ve always read that wrong 😂

I think the way I’ve read it is more realistic, just the first column speed not that % “extra”

Watching players drop like that in the first week of camp really helps you realize the effect that working with a good coach has on base training speed.

So, a coach would offer better efficiancy (above 100%) on the trainigfield the first (and maybe second) week compared to the % set for the TC. Thus the decrease in trainingbars?

That’s the theory which actually does make sense

I just put this guy on the training camp and he trained first week with the same speed as he did with the coach on AP. You can check these guys training reports as I opened them for now. ( HE and AP camp )

This dude has been little longer on a camp with 50% training eff chip. He has been training super slow on Passing when comparing to the other skills half the speed to be exact. It is also guaranteed that he maxes Passing on 9. Other skills were training at the start at the speed of the coach if you remove the 50% buff he receives from the chip. ( PI, PA, AP camp )

I have heard theories that player that is going to max the trained skill on the next ball would traing slower in the said skill. There is couple possibilities that affects the Passing being so slow on training.

1. Its already 8, but I have seen faster training speeds on training camp even with 9 balls. Heading was trained to 10 my coach tbf is 6 balls only when he was training it with coach. Other my coaches are 9 ballers. Need to change that :D

2. The player is going to max the trained skills on the ball but as said earlier I have had faster trainer even with the quaranteed maxing from 9 to 10. Under this is the player who trained faster from 9 to 10 in heading.

He actually trained faster than with 9 ball tackling coach in heading the next day he went to the camp.

I think there is just too many factors to be sure what is going on with slow speeds on training in some skills during the camp.

I hope you guys understand what im trying to say here :D

Onni Nurmi Training speed 2
Lech Ikalewicz Training speed 1
Usko Ruuttu Training speed 2

Still I think this wouldnt explain the difference that only 1 skill trains much slower in the camp than the others?

So even if it does not look good to begin with, you will see some positive effect when all five weeks have been completed..

Yeah, there probably are too many factors too find a set pattern here. I too have heard that the more balls they get, the slower they will train in that specific skill. Like pretty fast up 5-6 balls, then a little slower up to lets say 8-9. 10th ball tends to be slow for me. So if I know a player will get his 9th or 10th ball, I will train something else for him to be usefull earlier.
