Not really worth comparing the two in my opinion. CR is probably the best striker in the world, he just finishes very well (he's a number 9) - The thing is Messi is overall a better player because he also creates, he has vision, he can play on the wing, he passes better, and he can also finish, he has more assists,etc - Overall, Messi is a better player in my opinion because the things that Messi does best require more skill and finesse, and also help a team more. I often see Messi drop in midfield when his team is strugling just to help out his midfielders. CR7 doesn't really do that. If you like Ronaldo more, all is fine, everyone has their opinion, but you'll never see Ronaldo dribble an entire team from midfield and score like Messi. Messi has done some truly impossible things that make him special.
