Red card

I see that when a player gets a red card, one of the attackers with the most balls for defense takes his place. But I disagree with this method. Isn't it better that the team tries to cover the hole with the team play instead?

I was leading 2-0 after the first half and 2-1 after the beginning of the second half, then my central defender got second yellow card and was replaced by an attacker, and I lost 7-2 after that, because the attacker on the defender's position was useless and pointless like he was not present there at all. So, I effectively lost 2 players instead of one. He would have been better if remained in offense, and the rest of the defenders to cover the hole in defense.

I agree with your point, but thats the sim that ejected player is substituted by the player from attacking field.

For me red card sometimes means hard defeat, but sometimes it works not so bad.

And I agree in general with your suggestion that it would be a huge improvementđź‘Ť

Thank you!

When you get a red card, striker with lowest shirt number will take red carded player place! It is the easiest way they have implemented that! So you can make a tactic rule taking this into count!

Ah, so the lowest shirt number. It happened that he also had less balls for tackling, so I thoiught it was that.

I have my preferred shirt numbers already, won't change them because of red cards that is for sure. But I don't think such rule is legitimate, it makes no sense.

I meant he had more balls for tackling, lol, nevermind.

You’ll need to make a “rule” in your tactics if you don’t want this to effect you again.
