MZ Manager 2.x

After being away from Managerzone for a lot of years, I recently returned to the game, and behold, it looks exactly as I left it :) As the developer of the MZ Manager 2.x tool, I wonder if someone still use it? I was wondering about if I should put in some effort into the tool again? I have been in the game for a month now, and know version 2.4c still works with a few bugs. That's a good point and nice workaround. I will add date sorting for matchlist to the todo list!

Hi! Nice program, like it. I use it and I know a couple of other users who use it, mainly for statistical purposes - it is nice to know how many appearances and goals my players have scored, so I know my top10 scorers, and top10 appearances So I have been using it ever since I returned - but lost data due do my poor harddrive and didn't have backup for it, but right now counting from 18th january 2018 and I have played 14 485 matches. Thanks 🙂 I have moved the source code to the latest Delphi version (programming IDE) - and it will take me a while to get all the quirks out of it. But I am working on a version 2.4d and harvest suggestions for a version 2.5 😉

Well Mz Manager is an expert tool. It's up to each manager to change the settings (calculate player values for diff postions). At http://mzmanager.dk you can register for an account and download the version 2.4c as it was for many years ago, and the ini settings files for football and hockey that I used at the time I played last in 2014) In version 2.5 I have planned to update the football selection and calculation of player values significantly. More positions and playing styles. But lkets see what I can mange to fit in, and when :)

Nope that is a known error with 2.4c which will be fixed in 2.4d

Thank you! It was a mail plugin that failed. I have replaced it, and now everything should work fine again.

This makes the prediction much more reliable[/li] [li]on top of this, read the training graph for all training ever received and maybe read maxings too?[/li] [li]make it possible to add a maxing to players[/li] [li]add the matchtypes for uxx leagues, world leagues, uxx worldleagues,... It's always great to get new ideas, and thanks for sharing them with me. Version 2.4d will be a about getting the code base to work with the latest Delphi (programming) version, and to make it easy to set your team using the XML export/import. I have a discord server and will create an english channel where I sometimes will do presentations of new things I'm working on and how to's of the current features. I'll post it in the forum when it's set up!

It's always great to get new ideas, and thanks for sharing them with me.

Hey! Welcome back! MZ Manager is my favourite MZ tool. So, yes, it's definitely needed. But the hockey SC Ratings need a lot of improvement. Maybe for v. 2.5 if you need some advice, you can always contact me. Best regards.Hey!

Thank you :) I think it has been a common misunderstanding, that MZ Manager provides top league SC ratings out of the box. MZ Manager is an expert tool, that means that it will always perform better when the manager uses his/hers own experience. The footbool_settings.ini, and hockey_settings.ini provides a base for the calculation of player values. But is has always been the place, where the individual managers can do the difference, by using their own skills to change the values. Today I will host a Video Conference on the mz manager discord server at 20:00 (UTC+1) danish time, (link at the top of this thread) where I will show how to utilies the settings files, how to calculate the percentages using an excel spreadsheet and also do peer-to-peer talks about our experiences. "Monday February 1st: 20:00-21:00 (UTC+1 - danish time) - "How to utilize your hard earned experience to create your own values for different player positions" - I will talk and show how to change the settings for football and hockey and how I use a spreadsheet to calculate the settings based on my experience - I will use latest development version of MZ Manager 2.4d, and present some of the fixes and new features"

You're not using your mz password to fetch data. You are using your own security code provided for tools accesing the mz data feed. You can see it on your edit profile page at the bottom.
