Transfer Price

I am a returning player having played the game for some time around 2006. I noticed that you can get good quality players at a cheaper price on the transfer market, probably with the introduction of residency that allows you to get more foreign players.

Is it worth actually putting a player with 7@ in a primary on the transfer market and incurring the tax when in reality he doesn't even sell for 1EUR? How can a decent listing price be calculated?

The general rule for me is if he isn’t going to make as much as his salary on the transfer market discard him. Usually you’d have the player on for 3 days and if he doesn’t sell you’ve usually gone another finance week and paid his salary again. Cheaper to just discard bad players.

If you’re asking how do you know how much players will sell for there’s not a great answer besides looking at similar players on the transfer market and seeing what bids they have or sell for.

Yeah, reasonable approach to take. Thanks.
