World League Senior is a fraud

"You can sign up again for the next Edition. All teams that join, or rejoin, will start in the lowest available division for that World League."....and there is the glitch. A bunch of Top managers are taking sweet advantage of this loophole. A easy way to get trophies, meanwhile, all the regular managers fitting for 5th division and paying for it, noticed that we are screwed before to start. Over 70 groups on 5TH division, more than 30 are "owned" comfortably wich has won already from 4 to 8 World Leagues. Meaning, over 330 other managers, including me, on good faith paid willing to participate in a fair tournament. Its imperative to change, to fix this gap. Your suggestion makes absolutely no sense I’m sorry. World league is based on promotion and relegation. This is why it’s impossible for a team to go back into the division they were previously in if they don’t participate in a few seasons as that position will be filled by another team. Everyone needs to start at the bottom again, it’s the way it has to be and makes total sense. World Leagues are all about challenging yourself against the best teams and trying to be promoted. And you are rigth. And there is the trick. Playing regular league, you go back one by one. And thats the way. On World League, you migth be on 2nd division, u cannot win it, you are stuck. So, what you do, just skip one, and then you are all the way back. Meaning, you being a 2nd division level manager, you will pocket easly one, two, maybe 3 World League tournaments. And thats really unfair. Check out my division, 5TH 5.41. You will see who is leading. Go to his club, check all trophies, and he has already 8 World League won, going to get his 9TH Trophy easly, smoothly. Taking a quick look and other groups, 30 over 70 are in the same situation. So, what do we do....wait for the next one, or the next one, paying just to see if we get lucky or not....that, playing any League wich its impossible even to give a good figth, its a shame. The guy is on the top league of Turkey, trust me, his ambition isn't to win as many low division WL trophies as possible, I'm sure he probably couldn't care less about that. Sometimes people don't sign up to a WL for whatever reason, like lack of tokens, being on holiday and not paying attention, restructuring your club or simply forgetting to buy passes (that one almost happened to me) and then they get demoted to 5th division when they rejoin. Also, you have top managers that never cared to expend tokens signing up to a WL and they have to start on 5th division. Not one top manager intentionally sits out a season of WL to have to start in division 5 again, that claim is ludicrous. As mentioned, WL division 5 titles mean nothing at all and there’s no financial merit in dropping down divisions. I’ve dropped down from Div 1 to 4 in 3 seasons and I’ll most likely be in division 5 soon as I’m rebuilding but soon I will start dominating in that division and that’s not my fault then is it? And sometimes managers just can't continue to advance due to turnover in their squad or other factors. I've got 5 Div 5 WL trophies which means I have at least five relegations from Div 4 WL, as I am back in D5 again this season. I have not taken a season off to game the system, I just haven't invested the time and talent to manage to advance beyond the level I'm at.And sometimes managers just can't continue to advance due to turnover in their squad or other factors. darkline has a point: it could happens, you forget, you dont have the tokens. And skip just one, and thats another intresting angle....you migth been working on it, struggling during the last 10 or 12 WL, you reached maybe 2nd division, or up...and then, you cannot pay, u forgot, and all that work, effort, tokens, time u invested straigth just got vanished. The key here is....Why instead,( if you are a at second division),to go back all the way to 5th, like on ragular league, go to 3rd? Wheres the sense, to overfill 5th division with all those managers from 4th to top who skipped just one WL? I don’t think you’re still understanding the concept of WL. You keep mentioning fairness but a team who doesn’t play one season and has to start in division 5 again is completely fair. By your request that they would start in 3rd division if they were in 2nd would mean someone who won division 4 or came 2nd and fairly deserves their position wouldn’t be able to be promoted.

I don’t think you’re still understanding the concept of WL. You keep mentioning fairness but a team who doesn’t play one season and has to start in division 5 again is completely fair. I understand perfectly the concept. If you are playing 2nd division, and end below the red line, you go down to 3rd. A 4th division has a chance to go up 3rd? Randomly? if theres room yes if no, no? What if instead, to ascend or descend the 4th division guy plays a promotion 4 teams tournament like on regular leagues? What if the guy on 2nd that skipped one WL plays promotion to go down to forth or not? If you go up, you must win it. If you go down, go one by one. Theres to much gaps, to much "if".....its about to win, not to get lucky. I dont want to get to 4th div maybe if im lucky, i want to win my way there. Do you think its fair also for someone on 2nd div who missed a WL to go down to 5th? It could be worse - try being an Australian manager and having all the other 15 teams in your league Chinese !
