Tactics rules priority

Hi all, I apparently have conflicting tactics rules. Rule 1 is to change to tactic Alt 1 at 45 minutes. Rule 2 is to change to tactic Alt 2 whenever a player is sent off. In a recent league match a player was sent off in minute 45. My team switched to Alt 1. Why didn’t the sending off tule take priority? Do we have any guidance about rule priorities?Hi all,
