Re: SPAM on league message boards?
By darkline - 15-07-2020 00:47
I actually used your image to bump up and admin thread discussing this, additionally I would mention that violating the rules will be reason for a ban & a fine of $xxxxx.
Spam is pointless, everyone ignores it, no one is going to buy a player just because it was spammed on league boards, people that want to buy players use the transfer market search engine where you can use different filters to find the player you're looking for.
Also, it just look bad, you see a league board with mostly advertising of "19 y/old star" players that already retired due to old age and it's just discouraging and demotivating, I'm sure people would interact more if the league boards looked better with only relevant conversations being posted.

Hope we get this issue solved asap , Ive reported many advertising issue in our league message board and although support team could take action this takes many days, the sale has already gone bye and the spam message is not deleted from the board. So some solution needs to be found and changes in the rules of using message boards also need an updated to avoid this from going on. Thanks

I came here to the English forum to read some meaningful conversations about relevant topics.
The first thing I see is this thread. 😂

Ha! Isn’t posting Yes to a anti-spam post considered spamming in itself? 😀

Doesn't matter, as long as this spam helps get rid of the rest of it.
PS: Another solution would be to allow the managers in the league to be able to delete any message from a non-competitor. At least give the ones interested in the discussions the chance to moderate...

I agree. For domestic leagues only teams from that country should be allowed to post. There’s absolutely no reason someone from another country would have any interest besides spamming. In WL’s only managers in the league should be allowed to post on the message board. Half the problem solved right there

I think that's the best solution, why would anyone want to post on a league he's not playing other than to post spam? That would definitively take care of the problem IMO.
