Update the currency exchange rate

Badge image
Hi all

Just had a look at the 'end of season reward tour'. 600000EUR is a nice sum of money but converted into GBP its only around £412K, when it should be more around £540K with current exchange rate.

Could crew have a look at this please?

It’s all MZ exchange rate which has been fixed since MZ was created and has nothing to do with the real world exchange rate.

Like said above, exchange rate has to be fixed or the whole games economy would fluctuate way too much.

It should definitely not be fluctuating, but an update once in a while, like e.g. every second, third, or five year wouldn't mess it all up.

It would mess it up, the money you have would be worth or less depending on the real life exchange rate.

What I suggested many times is to just use one currency, could be euros, dollars or even better, don't put a name to the currency, just use the universally understood $ sign to express you have x amount of money... for example, the game instead of displaying 10 EUR, 10 GBP or 10 USD, will just display $10, all current game currency would be converted to "$" and that's it... end of the currency conversion issues.

Really like that idea and agree. It’s too confusing talking about players value/market value/transfer prices. A universal $ would definitely work

I also agree that changing it to MZ currency rather than multiple different would be a great idea. Shouldn't be that difficult to institute either.

Thank god someone pointed this up to the crew, still dont understand why they have so many currencies in the game, one universal currency would solve everything regarding this issue. Ive been asking for this for years ($MZ)

$$ +2 👍
