Player's skills range should be increased

Hi everyone, I think we came into time where lot's of managers maybe too many have similar squads. The problem is these days everyone can afford a good players, you can even purchase a good 30-33 y/o ones for the prices like 600-700k.

This matter supports the scores to be wierd, strange and too many closed games, when the squad's power is so similar that the end score is usually a big lottery.

What's my idea? I think players should have balls skills from 1 to 20 or something, anyways 1 to 10 is a very narrow range now, times changed... All teams are similar these days, and the lottery is growing.

I play MZ since 2009, and back then we used to play with players like 7 ball controll 8 shooting etc, now everyone can afford good players, all striker, defenders in decent teams look the same.

Due to tours and other financial supports we don't have to watch out for our budgets and we can get any players we want.

My idea would bring the MZ back to the level where difference between one team and another is visible. Now I think all teams are closed too each other when you think about the level. There is time when I can defeat some giant from Polish league and then lose to div3 or div4 Polish league.

Too many similar teams because it's too easy now to get good players, the difference is not noticeable.

Nice idea, it could be similar to Football Manager game which has skill scale up to 20. A bigger differentiation of skills and changes happening quicker in terms of player development are what we could expect from a wider skill range.

But I am not sure if such improvement would solve the problem of the similarity of teams. Basically, there is already some differentiation in skills - one player might have shooting maxed at 9 and the other might have 9 shooting balls and a half, which is better than the former player. So increasing the range would me more of a visual improvement and not a change of the system.

Also, I don't think the problem of team similarity is actually something to be concerned about. If your team relies only on 30-33 year-olds from the transfer market, you will basically spend a lot of your finances on both wages and transfers (since you will have to buy players quite often due to deteriorations and retirements, also even 30+ y. o. are quite expensive if they really are good). So one day you will end up being in a bad financial situation and forced to sell out and to think about investing in youths.

I like the idea.

It may not change anything in terms of similarity, however it does help with managers of getting more detail about their players.

Making the scale a lot more closer and defined to .5 will help with training and selling players.
