They are... Nothing you can do about it as midfielders and defenders don't head the ball. All you can do is place 2 or 3 defensive players out on the wing the ball coming in from to prevent as many crosses being launched as you can without giving up the middle of the pitch.They are...

There’s plenty of good counter tactics out there to wing formations. Have a look at what some of the teams in the top leagues do.
