Change languageHi, a few of my players retired so I went to fill in the empty positions and when I tried to save the tactic I got the following message:
"Error in Tactic: A
Numbers 50 and 18 are too close to each other!"
They are nowhere near each other. I then tried replacing 50 and 18 and then got the same message. Any thoughts? Thank you.

if you look right above the pitch of the tactics editor, there's a "Formation" feature where you can select alternative formations. It might be that in one of the alternative formations the two players are too close to each other. At least this is what had happened to me a few times, so the solution is to change the positions of the players in the alternative formations. Hope this helps :)

Just an update....
I checked in every day to see if this message would go away and about a week later I was able to add and set my players into position just in time for the new season. I have no idea why this happened in the first place or how it was fixed a week later, but let's just say it was an Easter miracle. LOL
