Achieve "Signs of Promise" in U18 World League ?

Badge image
Is this league considered as one of the official Youth leagues that can trigger this achievement ? Same question for all the similar Uxx achievements.

The broader interrogation behind this question, is wether the U18s can repay their own wages if the manager focuses on the Welcome Cups, with limited finances. And it's in the context when the club starts after the U23 and U18 regionalal'leagues have already started.

(I suppose yes, that the World League was made to be fair with everyone independently from the club birthday, but please someone confirm. It's a tough decision to take, to close the U18 or to pay 25k or 30k EUR/week)

That was of a great help, thanks.

I'd rather say I think everyone here was just too lazy to simply try to understand and answer. Or at least, answer "I have checked the issue, but I have no idea". Lack of curiosity and interest in the game ?

- Achievement ?
What could this word mean in the context of a game named Managerzone ?

Maybe someone should take a look at Club/achievements then seek "Signs of Promise". Then someone could ALSO assist "newbies". (And I am not really one)

The answer to my question was no.
The U18 world league does not count to achieve "Signs of Promise". Only U18 or Uxx leagues do.

(So if you begin after the - regional - U18 leagues have already started, then you have to wait for the next season)

Such questions really matter when you start with a few bucks. Achievements can bring up to 600k€/$ in just a few days. In a way that might help a new manager to build a cheap but powerful senior team in just 5 weeks, able to win a Welcome Cup, And this also means, create a team that would be able to win a senior d1 in most countries,

(See for instance Valette Stars #1 in FR d1.1, top 100 in MZ value, after just 7 months)

Old managers have simply no idea of what's been done in MZ recently to help the best newbies get extremely boosted starts. Wben success triggers more potential success. So on this scale, they are equal to 99% of the newbies, who will have hard times here to get the relevant informations.

I’m not sure if you were being sarcastic but I honestly didn’t know what you were asking, in the end I didn’t know the answer either.

Yes a bit sarcastic, truely, but not ad hominem. It's logical you had no clue. My positive "sarcasm" is dedicated to the whole MZ community, specially the top teams. But my intention is in a positive way, and wake up warning. Just to inform how hugely the game has changed, potentially. And I now realize how unaware, 99% of the experienced managers are of the combinations of new features for the newbies. The problem is most newbies are, for obvious reasons, also unaware.

For managers installed in Top Leagues, it is natural to be unaware of these new parameters. But every nation that will realize the impact of these novelties, will earn huge benefits.

And also, globally the game will be more attractive if more people care about these "newbies" issues. I give examples, that in just 6 or 9 months it can affect even the top leagues too. Ten years earlier, it took years to build a strong team. Now it is much more dynamic and, potentially, interesting for newbies. but if and only if most managers know and understand this new game play.

It's how this game could grow again, the crew has more revenues, gives us back a better 3d, etc. whatever ...

To be more concrete, from what I saw in the Welcome Cups and later, I estimate that currently, that you have 3 classes of newbies:

85% - a huge majority lost in the ovewhelming game complexity. They will struggle with nearly no cash, spend it in a few disastrous investements, be crushed like 15-0 in any pool or free cup. Then they quit without the least hint of the depth, richness, balance the game has.

10% - some newbies that will detect some interest in the game, maybe form a few U18s, or hire oldies, but then will possibly fail to reach enough wheel force and will lose focus in a long term static situation. Most will be stuck forever in the lower divisions, full of ghosts, and stop after a few months. This can for instance happen if they see the 5x150k stadium help too lzte, or see the easiest achievement chains too late.

- 1% detect the 5x150k€ stadium, the chains of achievements, how to do them, how to get some cash from Welcome cups, or even invest wisely on the transfer market for the next seasons to come. This creates a range of value of 1M up to 5 or 15M€ in 1-2 seaons, on a national level. This reinforces the long run creation of young and/or senior players in each nation and the local transfer market. And these managers will stay certainly much longer in the game.

So this subject is specially interesting for intermediate or small MZ nations only ranked 8 or more. (PS I think Australia is one of them).

And now I am certain (having discussed in private msgs with dozens of managers ww) that only a very few ppl here saw the impacts or even the existence of all these things combined. This game can be much better if we take more care of newbies.

What do you mean by "5x150k€ stadium"?

@paddyw When you (re)start from a fresh new account your stadium has only a 2000 capacity.

But you get 5 stages of 150k€ sponsorship, roughly one each and every week, It is meant to help you build and grow your stadium.

Hence the total gift is 750k€

BTW An ex top France hockey manager, 15 Magnus titles, joined MZ again recently.

But he did not even notice the feature in his first few days, all focused on transfers.

I noticed his comeback and gave him the tip, But his stadium was not very optimal for his first Welcome half final then small final. Lol ;)

He had lost 4 or 5 days. In.Welcome cups every day is very precious. In this case he lost maybe 100k of stadium income in the last two games of his 1st cup, plus in his first league games.
