Youth league is all Chinese

[AUSNZ]

So I decided to pay for entry into the U21 and U23 youth leagues Out of 24 teams there are 20 Chinese teams . Beijing is 9000km from Sydney . My players have to travel 180000km in 1 season - that’s half the distance to the moon. I am confused because I can’t even understand their teams names because I don’t read mandarin . It’s a big disadvantage. Do something please HoffaSo I decided to pay for entry into the U21 and U23 youth leagues

The problem here is that there aren't enough active teams competing in the youth leagues from the "rest of the world" to form an own youth league series. Put it this way, I'm in div 1 of the u18 youth league. Of 48 teams that comprise the top division and 3 division 1 leagues Only myself and an Indonesian team aren't ChinesePut it this way, I'm in div 1 of the u18 youth league.

There are 12: Americas Argentina Brazil Central Europe Iberia Mediterranian Northern Europe Poland Romania Sweden Turkey World This season there are 52 non-Chinese teams playing in the U18 "World". Most of them are Australian or Indonesian. These 52 teams would only be enough to fill Top Series, Division 1 and 4 spots in Division 2 if they got their own region.There are 12:

Thanks for the Info A problem is that the Chinese use a completely different way of writing - they don’t use the alphabet they use these strange symbols . You don’t let Lebanese or Saudi teams use Arabic symbols in their team or players names . It’s ridiculous, Let the Chinese play amongst themselves and put Australia and the rest of the world in with anyone else . I should not have to learn Chinese to play this game

A problem is that the Chinese use a completely different way of writing - they don’t use the alphabet they use these strange symbols .

Maybe is not an accurate translation, but at least is something you can read and you can research the team, get an idea who you're playing against, etc. etc...

I could bring this up as a suggestion on admin but also, I know someone that might be able to write a script to get this done, not sure if he'll be able or if he has the time, but asking never hurt anyone :)

Omg are those the real names in English - that is hilarious. Something needs to be done . Let the Chinese play against themselves and the alphabet language users play each other . You can’t research the teams or players and bring Australian I am paying the highest price for tokens to be in the youth leagues . There wouldn’t be many Aussie teams so I am sure some other region could absorb us without too much troubleOmg are those the real names in English - that is hilarious.

@frankie Don't think that's possible, if they moved teams to a different league, all those teams would have to start on the bottom league. @diesel It's a different thing, for Chinese names they have two internal databases, so the toggle button lets you select one database or the other, can't do that for team names, it would have to be a live translation.@frankie

Honestly, we wouldn't mind starting from the back of the grid again. The many issue is the language barrier, which ironically is the same for the hundreds of thousands of chinese that live in Australia. So I get why putting us with China is convenient, even the Australian national team left the Oceania division in real life to join Asia. In football here we just don't have the ability to compete. In Hockey I've managed to win the combined National team Cup we are in which includes China. But China is still quite small in Hockey, I can regularly beat all but 2-4 sides in the Chinese top series. In Football the userbase is to small and gulf of talent each country can produce is just so big. You'd have to have the a squad of the entire national team starting eleven to even get close to being on an equal level as the best Chinese squad.

Well I found a work around the language problem, so for example frankie's U21 league will look like this: [img]https://i.paste.pics/f39428f2b0dd7b3652080e1f0d315558.png[/img] You have to use chrome, right click anywhere on the webpage and click "translate to english", you'll get a popup saying "can't be translated", from that popup select options, then "page language" select "Chinese traditional", then OK and that's it. I don't think it's a problem of balancing the league, is just that there are a few non-chinese teams playing at the Uxx World League, so when you look at the league it seems all the teams are Chinese and the chinese characters that make it almost impossible to read, so I can really understand how frustrating it must be when you try to research an opponent and all you see is Chinese teams and you don't even know if you're playing against the league leader or the guy at the bottom. I got confused a few times on cups when I get more than one Chinese team and I'm thinking I got an easy game only to realize I'm playing a different Chinese team, my own fault for not researching properly but still..... While a Chinese team might have a larger pool of Chinese players to choose from, smaller Countries get more income from making it easier to top divisions and making it far on them (or even winning) local cups & also they can get a larger number of foreigners, so IMO it evens out. Hopefully this little trick I posted will help or someone might be willing to take this trick a step further and build some kind of script around it.

If MZ isn’t going to enable Australians to read team and player names but puts us in a league with 10 Chinese teams then it’s really unfair . Where is crews input into this dilemma ? Always thought they should just merge the non-Chinese World teams with one or two of the small regions (Romania and Iberia for example are the only two regions without a div3). I realize that would ruin the homogoneity of those zones, but taking manekaster's number for the U18's if there are only enough world teams to fill 4 or 5 leagues then the Romanians or Iberians or whoever will still be a majority and their leagus overall would be more competitive. The world teams would have new rivals whose names they can actually read, a more reachable road to the top series, and even if they had to start at the bottom they'd only be in div2 or, worst case scenario, div3 - would really only take a couple seasons for everyone to find their level. I noticed Powdersnow commenting on a few threads recently but the silence hear is frustrating . Australia pays one of the highest prices for tokens in the world and then I get thrown in World leagues in a language I can’t understand. So I will ask the question of crew again .... Do you acknowledge that this is a problem and major disadvantage and will it be changed ? A simple reply would go a long way .
