Work permits? B

Why as a club from with in the EU (within football rules) do I have to pay for a work permit for other European players?? This rule makes no sense. I can understand having a rule stating non EU players that haven’t had international experience/ player potential not being able to get a work permit etc but this rule makes no sense.

Domestically as well the UK market has about 10 players on at all times. What’s the point in buying a player for like 69gbp and having to pay 70k for a work permit for a player who is in the EU??? This needs changing

I think your question is the one that makes no sense. Why would it be fair to allow EU teams to buy each others players without permits but not the rest of the world? How would that be fair to any other country outside the EU?

It’s a very narrow minded opinion

Because that’s how it works in real football. It’s not a narrow minded opinion.

If an unknown Brazilian player wants to join the likes of man united or Barcelona he has to get a work permit.

You don’t need a work permit if these clubs sign a French or Spanish player.

This game isn’t real football though.

Ok if the game went for your suggestion, everyone outside the EU is disadvantaged. How is that fair at all?

My point is I just think the work permits are rubbish. They should be a percentage of the transfer fee. You just think it’s stupid as your from Australia. But I would imagine Australia has different rules within football in regards to Asia. So would give you more access to theses markets.

What the problem for me is that my domestic market has no players in and to try and improve my team I have to pay massively inflated work permits. You can’t think the current system works!

They are to encourage you to grow your own players through the youth system and buy domestically where possible.

They are also there to impact on teams buying and selling players frequently trying to make short term profit.

You used to only be allowed 3 foreign players back in the day so I think you’d much prefer this system.

Relax bro. My domestic market have no player since forever. I think current system quite ok. (But work permits are expensive though for me 😛)

Just be nice if the work permits were more relative to the cost of the player.
