Strange form Update
By killerbeeez (NC) - 04-06-2019 08:57
I bought a player that arrived at the club two days ago with 9 balls in form and was fit to play. Today after the form Update his form has dropped from 9 to 6 with "NEEDS TO PLAY" icon being displayed not a "NEEDS TO REST" icon. How can this happen? The usual drop is 1 ball per week for "NEEDS TO PLAY" so where is this 3 ball drop coming from?

I know this. What I'm referring to is losing 3 form balls from 9 balls in form to 6 balls in form in one week but the player is not tired but is shown to be under played? Doesn't make any sense. I understand the new threshold changes but losing 3 balls in one week for being under played is weird.

I get your point, but it says in the news: "Now you get the appropriate feedback faster!" so, now it's just building up the form again without having to wait to see what the reason is.

OK tell me this. Have you ever had player drop from fit to needs to play and in the process losing 3 balls from 9 to 6 balls in form? I still don't think you understand my predicament

I thought so. Can crew reverse this for a single player upon request?

I think that if you don't played the player at all is quite possible his form drops like a rock, I think this happened to me a few times when I forget to put youth players coming out of TC to play.

No I just bought the player with 9 balls in form and very fit with happy face icon. Today he lost three balls for being underplayed not overplayed. This is not normal

So a player can be fit with 9 balls in form but lose three balls not one or two if he doesnt play for a week? I didn't know this.

I know what you said but it doesn't matter if you overplayed or underplayed the player, a player needs to play 6 games to keep his form and your player played 0 games, so he had played 6 games less than what he needs and because of that he lost many balls.
Maybe had he played 4 or 5 games his form would have dropped to 8, had he played 2 or 3 the drop would have been to 7 form... but your guy played 0 games so it just seems very possible to see a drastic drop in form.

Keep in mind also that a player can have from 9.01 form to 9.99, so it's likely your player's form was closer to the bottom end of a 9

Yes but how do you explain the drop from 9 balls to 6 balls in one week. He lost three balls not one.

If you have a player play 6 more games than he needs by having him play 12 friendlies in a week, you don't think his form will drop to 6/7? Well, you did the opposite, instead of overplaying him 6 games, you underplayed him 6 games... I think it's possible.

So you're saying not playing a player for just one week can cause him to lose three form balls? And I bought the player within this week and when he arrived at the club he had 9 balls in form on Monday. Tuesday he drops to 6 balls. Anyway I contacted support so I'll see what they have to say about it.
