Cant get used to this sim at all!

Literally cannot find a tactic to suit my team at all, i have tried everything from passing to wings and still getting beat badly most games. I have a very young sode with little experience maybe thats a factor? My players are lacking speed and stamina? Or are the tactics im using just totally pants! Your team would be best suited to short passing - players need high levels of Aerial passing (cross balls) to be able to play a wing tactic. You should be competitive against other u21 teams though?? Experiance is a factor, but against other u21 teams not so much as you should be relatively evenly matched in that area. Problem with this sim is wing tactics tend to be very dominant against short passing (you will see evidence of this when comparing shots on target to goals scored - wings have a MUCH higher conversion rate), so more often than not if you play short passing vs an opponent playing wings, you will struggle against equal and even 'lesser' teams. This can be very frustrating. Of course, if you put time and effort into tactic development/testing/trials, you will find ways to improve your odds and win more often... but at the end of the day, short v wings is not a fight you will win consistantly long termYour team would be best suited to short passing - players need high levels of Aerial passing (cross balls) to be able to play a wing tactic.

Ok thanks for the advice, currently i play a short passing tactic but just seem to be conceding a lot of goals. your players are young and crap, i dont know what you expected. Nothing to do with the simyour players are young and crap, i dont know what you expected. Nothing to do with the sim

It's a combination of many factors, to be able to compete at senior level most of your players should have 9 experience, experience is a decisive factor that on younger players can be somewhat compensated if the player has high Pi (which most of your team also lacks) Then, most of your players are at 7 stamina, the absolute minimum for a player to be able to play for the whole game is 8, though 9/10 is what you should be aiming at. Now at U21 level and even at U23 level you should do ok, specially on cups like the U23 National Cup.... but, you're only fielding a tactic with 7/8 players on those competitions? Why is that?

This is how form works: [img]https://snag.gy/Fsqm5l.jpg[/img] So in a jist, as long as you avoid playing your A-Team on friendly games, you don't need to rest your players or worry about form, you can play your A-Team on every single cup & league game. I'm sure you'll do well at the U21 league and at U23 you might get some good results too, if I where you I'd start testing tactics at Uxx level, I'd get a few more 22 y/olds and aim for next seasons U23 National Cup as to me it looks like a competition you'll have a fair chance of winning.
