Keepers

What is the most anyone has gotten for a keeper ? A top young striker or defender can be worth 5 to 10 million dollars and sometimes a lot more . The great keepers are worth only 1.5 to 3 million .
Something is wrong

I’ve seen keepers sell for over 7 million. Amputees’ keeper a few seasons ago was worth a lot. He had nearly 80balls from memory which is a huge number for keepers.

They are out there

Amputees keeper 80 balls. Must have cost him an arm and a leg. 😜

Maybe because once people get a decent keeper they don't look to upgrade so competition is less intense? And by the time most folks are selling good keepers they are already getting up in age.

Yeah but a good striker / defender up in age will still command big bucks . I believe that managers just settle for a keeper with 10 balls in keeping and 5 plus stamina .

Re: Keepers

On today’s transfer list there are only 3 keepers in the whole list who have a bid of 3 million Aussie dollars or more .
Only 3 keepers and that is any age !!

Igor Dabrowski

Age: 44 (Retired)

I can definitely agree with that comment. I bought this guy as a 21 year old with 52 balls (huge number for that age) paid 3.5million and I’ll keep him for another 5 plus seasons. I think they aren’t as recycled as much as strikers and defenders.
