More updates on the way

While we keep chipping away at the design for the upcoming Youth Analysis feature, our house ninja powerandreas is churning down a list of requests from the community. The list could potentially change, so no promises made, but it's what we're aiming for. [li] Option to mirror a tactic (if, for instance, you have a tactic that you are pleased with and want to add a rule that mirrors it halfway through the match to confuse opponents). Good stuff guys, I brought up the suggestion of the filtered transfer history page a couple of years ago and it will be a bit easier on the eye when looking back at those nostalgic signings when thats sorted. Have you thought about creating a page in all profiles of teams called historical games? on this page would be all the games that your team made against the team on which you are looking at the profile, simple page as the games played. showing the date the game was played, which competition it was and the outcome of the game. Biggest suggestion which is also a current thread in "Suggestions and Improvements" is improving the cup format. Can't promise anything, but hopefully we can take a look at least. Some parts of our code is pretty old, usually that isn't a problem but sometimes what seems easy is actually quite fidgety and even risky. Nothing else matters in the long run, if you are to keep (remaining) managers. Also, it would be nice if users that dare to voice their concerns about the sim, don’t get jumped on. Everyone is free to voice their opinion about it and the forum is a great place to do so, as long as you follow the forum rules and so on. Form is nearly a redundant skill in the game. It’s just something that confuses new users as it’s quite confusing when starting out. All experienced managers can manage form quite easy or should be able too manage a 9 average. I think the form is very tricky to get right. it's easy to get keep it on 9 on all players, but the partial between 9 and 10 varies alot on my players. I agree. If we could we would probably change how it works drastically (it manages to be too confusing for new users whilst too simple for old users, basically the worst of two worlds). It isn't as easy as just "fixing it" or ripping it out though. Not saying it will never happen, but the form functionality is one of those core features on which the game was originally built. Changing it would mean rethinking friendlies, leagues, tours, player development and a lot of other things in the game where form either affects or is affected in key ways. It would be a massive challenge, but for a limited benefit in the end. It is one of those rare occasions where I'd like to go back in time and give the otherwise brilliant original creators a piece of my mind. The basic idea is great, the implementation very... uhm, programmer made. :)

Here's an other idea on the [i]form[/i]: change it in [i]mood of the player[/i]. The mood can take a different value from 1 to 10 every day, it isn't affected by the number of games played and the manager cannot affect it in anyway. More tiers for tours. Some teams have already reached the highest tier in several tours. And the possibility to select and deselect various types of competitions in the fixtures list. "select all", "deselect all" and check boxes. So we can see all upcoming games except from e.g. frienlies. Also add LoF as an own competition form in the fixtures list. I know they're friendly leagues, but for all of us who play in a lot of LoFs it would be a good implementation.More tiers for tours. I think that it could be some sort of prestige system with different badge designs. IMO, Mid Season Tour tier 32 would look odd. How about tier 1-9 having squares shape, tier 10-19 (Prestige 1, tier 1-9) having the Youth Tour shape, 20-29 (Prestige 2, tier 1-9) having the Federation Tour shape and then again the World Tour. The same goes for Tour of Tours but with the with the golden stroke included. Would this be possible, [b]@powdersnow[/b]? Even better suggestion. But you know that Prestige 3, level 7 can easily be translated to 3-7, which in the desimal numeral system is called 37. But I agree with you on the badges. Not more colors, but strokes, stars etc.

I think that it could be some sort of prestige system with different badge designs. IMO, Mid Season Tour tier 32 would look odd.

How about tier 1-9 having squares shape, tier 10-19 (Prestige 1, tier 1-9) having the Youth Tour shape, 20-29 (Prestige 2, tier 1-9) having the Federation Tour shape and then again the World Tour.

Even better suggestion. But you know that Prestige 3, level 7 can easily be translated to 3-7, which in the desimal numeral system is called 37. But I agree with you on the badges. Not more colors, but strokes, stars etc.
