CALL OUT:
Looking for anyone that wants to write for the Aussie MZ Zone. I have contacted the Head RA in our region and he'd like a few more users other than myself to get this up and running again. It's been over 2.5 years since we had anything published, so it's about time we get this back up and running.
What we're looking for:
- A sound knowledge in MZ and the brains to come together with written or visual skills.
- Reliability in meeting a fortnightly deadline.
- Someone that can commit to writing a report/review/analysis/Q&A each fortnight. Can write 1-2 articles to get RA status.
- Someone that understands the nature of MZ Australia.
- People looking to improve our Aussie MZ community.
If you think this is you, or can recommend someone, please give me a holla in my guestbook or chat. :)
I'd love to see that big Z yellow in the top right corner light up again.

If you drop all the requirements and just ask if any Aussie would join, you still would not find someone.
The only thing Aussies like to write is booze.

Settle down Trudeau, we don't need your negativity in here. Your perception of Australians is pretty skewiff if that's what you really think.

Awww, Thanks, Trudeau cute or just cute?
What else can Aussies possibly like besides booze? Kangaroos? I heard they are shooting them all kanagroos down cause they can...
So if the world stops moving and you find another fella, what are you going to write about? You only have a handful of managers active just like The Canadians?

Can the mods please get rid of aemi from this thread? Completely off topic and unhelpful in our search for zone reporters

We must talk again about the original theme and leave to resolve their differences in private

The main problem is we all get older and have more responsibilities. Being able to assist was so much easier in years gone by.

@damo
Still just the three of us then? It would be small but maybe achievable

We got our first TZ in a decade. Ok, not really a decade, but for some years. All written by two users. The FA and the NC. You can do it!

So far there's 4 of us (myself, yourself, grinner and rubiton). Just awaiting confirmation from the powers that be as to how we can make it start from here. Communication has been a bit hit and miss.

That's not the point.
I wrote the most recently available Aussiezones by myself (with extremely minor contributions from others) for at least 2 years.
It's not sustainable to do that long-term unless you have a team of at least 6 people working together. Writing at least 2 articles each, for every release.
The reality is people are busy and in my experience everyone who says they want to write, will lose interest in 2-3 months. Basically one season and they are gone. Then it's back to doing everything yourself again

Still waiting to hear back about this actually getting up. At this rate we're only losing time and interest because of the delays. It's a bit frustrating that we're keen and nothing can be done to help/advance the MZ community by creating The Zone sooner.
