Kangaroos slaughtered by Aussies

I am very upset about the possibility of losing our beloved kangaroos. I ask that every respectable manager in MZ, to adopt a kangaroo asap.

We shall call them Pete 1, Pete 2, etc. Pete Kangaloo.

I suggest that the crew establish a free cup with the name "Saving Kangas" to bring awarness to the issue.

They are useful as a team mascots, defenders or strikers, and capable of putting up with people like Aussies. Not all Aussies are the same though.

"farmers have been given the all-clear to shoot kangaroos"

"farmers were given new authority to shoot kangaroos"

"the worst possible outcome for the kangaroo"

RIP.

I don't like kangaroo steak, tastes too much like venison and I don't like venison neither, just give a good ol' beef steak and I'll be happy.

@darkline

try it when it's cooked sous vide with some kind of sweet sauce (port wine and chocolate can do miracles in sauces)

that goes both for kanga and venison meat (imo at least)

Teach them how to swim, so they can live in the ocean, with the dolphins. They'd be safer there.

Before Europeans came to australia the indigenous population sustainably farmed kangaroos and all other large species of animal to maintain a healthy population of each species. Cattle and sheep ruin the environment, kangaroos don't impact the light ground soil because of their padded feet, same with emus (not padded feet, but they have a light step). If we did the same now and slowly converted all sheep and cattle farms to native animals the soil would recover and be more resistant to drought.

Add to that using native grains & yams which the indigenous population also farmed in mass harvests and the supposedly barren australian interior would again be transformed.

Good read scrutino.

I am not sure why they want to kill the kangaroos unless you have many of them. I though they are like the national symbol or something.

Imagining this made me laugh, although I am sure it was probably a scary experience.
