Hello guys,
I would like to introduce you guys to a project I recently started called „In The Long Run”. What it’s all about?
“In The Long Run” project is a community of people trying to change the world by donating to charity and in the meantime promoting a healthy lifestyle. It’s open for everyone. All you have to do every week is run a small distance, share a picture (selfie if you wish) afterwards and donate 1$ to charity. It’s not much but In The Long Run it might make a change.
We add 10 meters to every run. Example: Run #1: 10 meters, run #2: 20 meters and so on. The amount everyone donate is always the same: 1$. You might ask why only 1$?
1$ may seem like a small amount but when 30, 50 or 100 people donate 1$ every week it adds up to a nice amount. It’s also an amount most of the people more or less fortunate in life can afford to spend on charity every week.
To anyone who might not know who I am:
Mateusz Macias, a 32 years old sales representative, husband, father of two lovely daughters and an astronomy enthusiast.
