Ok.... I'm kind of new here and I would like to discuss the use of wing passing.
So, I like to use wing passing. To do that I play one guy in the attack very open to receive the passes.
I notice that this winger doesn't shoot a lot. He always run a little bit and cross.
So, I'm thinking that maybe shooting is not very important to this player. Maybe 8 balls is more than enough.
Maybe the most important skills are speed, stamina, control and Arial Passing.
What do you think?

Playing intelligence is an important attribute to all players in all playing systems :) Shooting is not considered one of the most important attributes for a winger, but it happens that my winger scores goals now and then (loyal player with 9 in shooting). To be honest I do actually value tackling higher than shooting as he's more likely to be in a position where ball recovery can be useful, rather than finishing.

I see as necessary:
Arial Passing / speed / stamina / control
intelligence / Tackling
after, if I were to train another skill would be short pass.

in my matches based on the u21 category, the wing player rarely kicks to goal.

Take it from manekaster...they do shoot..rarely..but they do..and you want it to go in when the time comes! But ofcourse..U21 and seniors can't be compared as you want seniors to be more complete but U21 with high main skills!

Here is my winger btw. I wrote 9, but i meant 8,75 in shooting. I've been training him in shooting so he could figure as a striker when not using a wing tactics. As soon as he has reached 9 in shooting, it's straight to PI.

In the case of u21 there is no time for training shoot, but in the seniors I do not think it is a priority.
Looking only at the performance of a player wing, I think that @Iver Rudi would be better if he had more intelligence instead shooting, but of course, if he can be used also as an attacker is another situation and shoot will be very important.
note: I'm sorry if there are errors in the translation

Indeed, and as soon as he reaches 9 I'll put him on PI. The problem is just that I've already got 5 other players training PI at the moment.
