The activity is always lower in the summer period than in winter. Number of active users will go up again when winter starts. I think another factor is that you need 21 players vs 11 to field a team, but finances are around the same, so the price for transfers will be lower. And with most managers focused on only 6 stats, it's a little quicker to max out a player leading to more 7/8 puck players in the key skills available. The price for the truely elite players is still sky high. Also, with the lower amount of active managers, it's easier for a low priced player to slip through the transfers.I think another factor is that you need 21 players vs 11 to field a team, but finances are around the same, so the price for transfers will be lower.

And with most managers focused on only 6 stats, it's a little quicker to max out a player leading to more 7/8 puck players in the key skills available.

The price for the truely elite players is still sky high.

Also, with the lower amount of active managers, it's easier for a low priced player to slip through the transfers.

Players deteriorating is killing MZ hockey for me. The rate of deterioration is way too fast. By the time a youth has been trained and is ready for the starting team he only has a few seasons before his stamina and quickness start dropping. This on top of having to field 21 players can make hockey frustrating leading to people quitting. The transfer market can also be brutal. It's typical for the US transfer market to have zero domestic players for sale.Players deteriorating is killing MZ hockey for me.
