[BUG] Transfered players' salaries

[i]I kindda got tired of this so I decided to make a public discussion out of it, maybe there's something I'm missing.[/i] PREMISE: You want to buy a player, you bid for him and you have a pop-up window [u]informing[/u] you of the player's approximate salary once he gets to your club. But then again, [b]approximate[/b] means almost everytime what his salary will be - many managers buyt players also considering the long-term financial effort (salaries plus TCs) and not only the transfer price. PROBLEM: The player comes to the club yet his salary is [u]bigger[/u] than what you were informed about when bidding on him. EXAMPLE (this happerned several times but this time I decided to print screen the case): I just auctioned a foreing player, [b]Luís Guilherme Catarinense[/b] (id 200811104) and once I bid on him I was informed that his salary will be [b]13.0004 EUR[/b] and his work permit 117.767 EUR. When he got to the club, I found out his salary is [b]19.653 EUR[/b]. So 6,5k extra (50% of the TL pop-up window approximation). CONCLUSION: The approximation on TL is almost every time accurate to the cent to what the salary will be. So, personally, I took it as such. Maybe I'm wrong here and I should haver not forgotten it's an approximation. Yet an increase of 50% is way too much and unacceptable as it changes the terms of a transfer - I would not bid on a player if I knew his salary exeeds a certain amount I consider appropriate. 'Cause otherwise it's [color=red]theft of team money[/color] and I wouldn't want my chairman to think I'm in complicity with Crew on embezzling team money.I kindda got tired of this so I decided to make a public discussion out of it, maybe there's something I'm missing.

I have not experienced any problems with the approximate quoted salary to actual salary upon receiving the player. However, in the case of your player in the example, it should not ever have that big of a difference. I’m with you mate - the approx salary is at least 50% wrong . Try living in Australia and paying at least 50% more for club membership , but unfortunately for us that’s not an approximation but the kangaroo tax HoffaI’m with you mate - the approx salary is at least 50% wrong .

No worries! I never expect anything from Crew - better not get dissapointed. I have a picture of the event but I think I can be trusted it is as I say - I gave all details above and yet no answer. Just fake money, right?

Hi there! Of course, this is absolutely something that could cause confusion, especially for users who aren't aware of this when buying a player. I'm not completely sure about how the aprox. salary is calculated but I think we can agree on that it does not work as good as it should. Well I’ll be dammed !! Who is this Robert with a crew in his title ? He’s like the Loch Ness monster with many rumours but no confirmed sightings . Hey Robert any chance you can charge us Aussies the same rate as your Swedes pay to play this game ?

We have already started to make some price changes in a couple of countries and Australia is one of the countries that we will make a decision about soon.
