Did anyone check his Season Break Tour Loyal Players?

Badge image
I chose the 300K money prize plus 3 new loyal players thinking at least one of them will be good enough to play in first team match squad.
My new three players arrived today.
First one:
Stamina maxed at 9 ball control maxed at 8, ok
speed tackling aerial passing maxed at 6!! Has not a chance of reaching a SC over 7.5 on any playin position even I send to camp and make 10 balls on any/all main skills
The other two is in the same situation, all maxed on 5 skills including speed or stamina and I mean 6 balls as maxed skills.
What am I supposed to do with a loyal player who has 5 maxed skills (4 of them are 6 as maxed) except sending to the trash can?
My two main questions are:
Is it all the same situation for you?
Is it really an option to choose more loyals instead of 300K where I can easily buy 3 players of the same age to maximum 50K total on the transfer market?
What I think is these are players not generated new but someone's old players which has been sent to trash can just because they were maxed early and given up on hope.
Will be happy to get your opinions.

Most of threads around loyal players relate the same trend: those are crap in majority.

As the game allows for unlimited loyal players within a club, I guess this is somehow a good news. Otherwise, imagine the transfer market and academies. What a poor dynamic for the game would that lead to.

After reading many a horror story around loyal players I opted for the cash with 1 loyal player. Wasn't disappointed - he was garbage. Maxed at 6 speed and stamina and maxed at 7 in passing, shooting and BC. I have better youth players.

I fired him and told him he can be a loyal fan in the stands instead, rather than a loyal player.

Yay!! I got a 10@ shooter....wait...but he maxed in 6 and 7 in speed and stamina...enough said....better luck next time.

For the first time in ages I took the option of 3 loyal players and money. Was pleasantly surprised as they all had enough speed and stamina to not immediately throw away

Well Jack Sayner will be fired unless he can tackle. But the other two have been sent straight to TC. Quinn for Tackling & PI, Dearn with focus solely on Shooting .

I also took the 3 loyal option. One out of three were solid. That’s all you can really expect and not even that most of the time. It’s a big gamble and usually doesn’t pay off. I fired my other two straight away.

Went for the single loyal player as I've had poor results in the past. Both this player and the Christmas player were sacked straight away due to poor maxings in speed and stamina (both at 6's).

as is generally known by all of us, opting for the 'Loyal players' gift is a huge risk. more often than not, you get stuff which even a scrap collector will be ashamed of possessing. so, is it really worth is ?

funnily enough, i'll go for a 'yes'. here's why -

it's all about how much better the other gift is. if you go for the 'only cash' gift, you're certainly not losing out on anything...or oh, are you ? i think you are.

imagine this - you get a player like that of scruttino or chucky06 (or even Dow, for that matter). now, if you had to actually buy that player through the TM (at the tender age of 22, an age when all good players sell like hot stuff), how much 'higher' (when compared to the monetary loss you're at when you choose the loyal players option - a loss of 300,000 Euros)would you have to really pay ?

to be honest,a player like Aaron Dearn would cost a manager way way way more than the 300,000 Euros 'loss' he makes everytime he opts for the loyal players gift. or for that matter, even a Boyce Pincini or Kent Quinn would cost way higher than what you're losing out on. as for Dow, if he trains his player and the chap turns out to be good at heading, he should be thanking his stars.

so, let's say you get scum players for 4 consecutive times, and then get a really good player, then you need to think - is this player worth the monetary loss i made the past 4 times ? (a loss of 1,200,000 Euros) that is to say, would i have got this player for an amount lesser than 1,200,000 Euros had i tried buying him through the TM at this age ? and, based on that answer, you could decide if it's really worth it.

most loyal players usually come with extremely low speed/stamina maxings, but that player could just be your perfect striker (for all the wing-play lovers out there).

so, all it needs is a bit of patience. surely, this may seem to be a stupid short-term thing, but it may reap you excellent dividends in the long run.

P.S.- if you're looking back for a 'monetary' refund for all the losses you've made (when u previously got scum players), then this is just not the thing for you. bcoz as is known, loyal players, however good they are, cannot be sold. so, in this, you'll have to make do with an 'invisible' cash refund (having gotten a player for free, and who'd otherwise have cost a lot).

also, i have never usually opted for the loyal player gift, but i did last time for 2 reasons - first, this 'realization' (which i explained above) dawned upon me, and second, they were adding an extra amount of loyal players, so i thought i might just get lucky :P

and i did, though only partly. 2 of them went straight down the bin, but the 3rd was worth keeping and training. and lucky me, he's even got a good (6/10 pie) training rate.

here's my player btw :
