Here's what I've got right now. Granted I don't think heading is in any of the YTC.

YTC does not (I repeat, DOES NOT!!!) in any way indicate the highest skills for a player but his positional potential. Hence, he could max later in other skills than the 3-4 chosen in YTC.

No 10’s for me but the amount of times a youth has maxed early in the “identified skills” is crazy common.

Beginning to train them all predominantly in SP, ST and BC and not determine a position this their year 2 or 3.

If you get player with pass and shoot on YTC, what is his position?

Has anyone gotten different skills the second time player attends to youth camp? I got one and should I think that he is "talented" in all of those skills (getting 6 balls at those atleast).

First camp was SP,TA,CB
Second camp is ST,PI,TA

I read somewhere that pointed skills goes atleast 6 balls and so it has been for me this far.

my maxings in pointed skills during two seasons after my return to mz are as follows
0-5 balls = 0
6 balls = 3
7 balls = 4
8 balls = 5
9 balls = 0
10 balls = 1

Jere,
The indicated camps show you have yourself a midfielder. Because of the second camp.

Skill could still max on 4-5. Even if the skill was in YTC. So this is not a rule or anything - so don't be surprised when player maxes youth trainingcamp skill on 4-5!

Thanks for your answers! I wont be surprised if they max early.

I actually took YTC under my radar cos I had wealthy bank account with my team and wanted to see changes in training/youths.

Now I got another examples in my team with these training camp changes.

1st camp SP,PI,SH
2nd camp ST,TA,CB

Change in shooting to tackle was unexpected but happened. And another one of the same kind.

1st camp SP,PI,SH
2nd camp PI,TA,CB

They were almost identical changes but second player kept the PI and didn't receive stamina in his "skill set".

I just keep keeping the record of the camps and gather data out of em and count the pointed skill maxing as well. Just for the fun of it and maybe I can provide some bigger information to you guys later on :)

First one is indeed a radical change, which sometimes happens (rarely) and noone knows why. The second one is not o fluke of the system, it just points out very clear to a midfielder (pi is the main ingredient to any mid YTC pack).

@jere92

if you can, keep some notes on the status of the player when you choose to send him at the YTC (ie his @s in all skills)

It would be nice to check the lvl of the skill in question before (1st YTC) and after it changes (2nd YTC)
