My favourite Northkorean film

sup guys, today I'm bringing you one of my favourite films:

The Flower Girl

The story is set during the 1930s, and is based on the anti-Japanese guerrilla movement during the period of Japanese occupation in Korea.
A poor, rural girl, around whom the plot is centred, picks flowers on the mountain every day to sell at the black market, to care for her ill mother. Additionally, she has a blind sister, a dog with three legs, and her father is deceased. Her mother is in debt to the landlord, and is bankrupt and unable to purchase food. I won't tell you more, and leave you with this touching masterpiece. Enjoy!

I decided to take a look on Wikipedia, your synopsis is a copy and paste of exactly what was on it! I've got a feeling you haven't watched the film. :)

Kid you know, the film starts with a lady singing "Buy flowers, red flowers, beautiful and fragant, flowers I grew devotedly to get medicine for my sick mum.......

Couldn't stomach past that, so I made it to the minute 1:42 after skipping the titles....
