Of big proportions.
Bought yesterday a dude, on the first day of the season. I paid close to 6 millions cad for him (traitor). That's double of how much you think it is.
Anyways on the TL, he (the crampy one) was 29, only to find out after looking at his (monkey) profile and after the bidding ended that he (buffon) was 30, and he (boooo) started obviously to deteriorate.
This need to be fixed, I want some money back.

depends on the time zone, at the time I bought him at 22:08 EST, it showed day 1. I specifically looked at it and remember it, unless I am going senile, and I can't because there is already a senile old aussie around here somewhere. And I am not aussie.

Yeah.... the transfer list doesn't update once listed, you need to look at the birth season around this time of the season (first 3 days) to avoid mixups.

Make sure you buy him a drink first and tell him how glad you're that he choose to play for your club.

He got a spanking instead. Next day he lost another ball at speed.
Mrsheepie if you read this, what do you think?

I don't know what MrS thinks, but I'd say you should be more astute when spending $6m.

I didnt have CM at the time so I could not see his skills that were deteriorating.
Also, I don't check the Birth Season, because you have the age right there that tells you how old is the guy.

Back in the day you had to be more switched on as each player had an individual birthday. Most decent managers would list players the day before their birthday to take advantage of listing 'Snapshot' of the transfer market to make their player appear younger than he was. Most decent managers would be sharp enough to check the birthday before placing a bid. Many didn't, but this was the learning curve.
The Renri style common birthday was specifically introduced to reduce opportunities of smart managers taking advantage of their cerebrally challenged counterparts.
Hats off to this seller for a well timed transfer, made completely within the rules. Shame on you for stumbling into the trap. On the bright side though, you won't make this mistake again and I'd even suggest that you might employ this transfer strategy your sometime ;)

Completely agree, I am not mad at the manager, he made a decision perfectly legal and smart. I'm sad, or disappointed, to quote Trump, "Very sad day (probably for humanity) ", because crew allows this and they didn't reimburse me. I'm not mad at them though, but it's so sad.
Because from where I stand is against the basic rules of contract law. The way I see it is this, it's the first day of the season, the player just had his birthday (theoretically) . So here is this awesome 29 years old, with 9 speed and 9 stamina on the transfer list. Bidding war ensures.
He arrives at my club a day later as a 30 year old with 8 speed already (technically still close to 9,but you get my point). I'm like this is not the guy I placed the bid on, you've sent me a different player.
Like you place your bid on a Bentley and they send you a Toyota, because you didn't check the year it was manufactured.
This is against the principles of contract law. Because they have sent me a different player, I have the right to refuse him and get my money back. In real life that is.
Is not fair, and this bug should have be fixed. If you introduce deteriorations, make sure the transfer list keeps up and updates the players.
Im probably too Canadian where our society is trying to be as fair as we humans can do it.

Allthough, kudos to Crew for looking into this, they didn't have to as support already decided not to reimburse. But they took the time, and I appreciate the effort.
Also, excellent support from darkline, he was not handling the ticket but took the time to look into this and he was very supportive.
Not everything will go my way and I accept that, so I'm trying to be at peace.

Terrible analogy... More like buying a 2016 Civic vs a 2017 Civic and expecting the rear backup camera to be a standard feature.
Get it together bro, you're representing Canada now.
