is diego wotsisname going to shine for Chelsea this year , who do you fancy to be top scorer , who do you fancy to flop ,after last season , everything is difficult to call .. are you brave enough to make that call, anyone who guesses correctly, wins a free pass into poets corner prefab , valid until 2020 , ( please read the small print ) ..

fine, I will bite...

Manchester United wins the championship.

Leicester doesn't relegate but nor does it win anything significant.

Top Scorer is diego.

Spoiler alert: Chelsea relegates bhahaha

well he's off to a good start.

I picture Leicester finishing 5th-7th

Ibrahimovic will take the league by storm and put United back on top.

Leicester to finish around 8th to 10th.
Probably United to win the title.
Pogba to do well but not be worth £89m
Top scorer to be Harry Kane
Arsenal to finish outside of the top 4, not because I'm a Spurs fan, but because they've not done anything significant during the transfer window and don't look too great a shape.

Top four to be - United, City, Spurs and Liverpool. Chelsea to finish 5th with Arsenal 6th.

Relegated - Burnley, Hull and Sunderland

My team predictions (Spurs)

Best player - Erik Lamela, his season to shine. He's been leading by example for the past season, whenever he's been on the pitch the team has performed better. I expect him to push on this season and throw his flair in there and become an outstanding player this season. If not him then I'd say Toby Alderwiereld.

Player to keep an eye on - Janssen, Eredivisie top scorer last season with 27 goals, most of them coming in the second half of the season. Made a big difference when he came on against Everton and should have had his dream debut but for the keepers impressive reactions.

Player to struggle - Dele Alli, after an impressive first season that saw him raise from nothing to superstardom I expect his second season to be a bit trickier.

Breakout season - Cameron Carter-Vickers - I expect him to get some game time. Pochettino rates him highly. The young Centre back should get some game time in the league and FA cups and may be required to deputise in the absence of Alderwiereld or Vertonghen.

Finish - I'd say 3rd. We haven't had a great deal of changes, none of the star performers have left and we've improved weaker areas. Still some areas to improve if we want to press on. It all depends on fatigue and any reinforcement being bought in.

Champions league - I'd say a quarter final finish is where we will end.

Cups - With the league and the champions league taking precedence, I'd not expect a league cup or FA cup run, or not a far one anyway. I see Poch taking these games as an opportunity to see how the younger players perform. If we make a quarter or semi-final we may see the first team introduced.

I'm supporting Antonio Conte's students. I sympathize to Ibrahimovic and Mourinho but not Man. United.
