I think there should be more injuries. 1 week, 2 week injuries. This would force the manager to make more decisions throughout the season. It would also give the more active managers an advantage. Which i think is good for the game. And i'm not even that active.
I also think it would make the game a bit more realistic as most teams generally have a handful of first teamers in the physio room.

Yeah i'm aware that there are injuries of this kind but i think every team should have to deal with many injuries throughout the season, rather than the very rare occassion.
Maybe introduce a training intensity gauge which directly impacts the chance of injury.
But if you look at premier league teams for example, every team has a few injuries which affect the first team line up. This would add a fun challenge to the game.

I'm for it, I had a 19 day injury this season. But other than that everyone else was back within a day.
It would make player development more interesting if more players couldn't train because of their injuries. Yet how realistic do you want injuries to be, as some injuries end players careers, or they come back as a shadow of their former selves. Others like Harry Kewell for his long decline as a player are perpetually injured or have chronic injuries they can only manage and never go away completely. I'm not sure you'd want that level of injuries in the game, but I'd back a 10-15% general increase in the frequency of injuries.

You're absolutely right. While them career defining injuries happen in real life, I don't think they would add anything positive to this game.
i think 1 week, 2 week injuries should be constant, to keep managers on their toes and make smart changes to their tactics. Also brings a need to plan ahead for the future, keeping back up players who can be used as cover.
