exactly, because this current match schedule is awkward, its silly. I mean i just played the last game of the season against a team I played the first match day of the season... This has always been the case, even when the leagues were 8 teams. I think it's for ease of booking and avoiding errors more than anything. It could be changed, like play the first 11 teams then play them in the same order again, so there's always the same gap between each game. As it stands if you take a battering at the beginning of the season you have all that time to go and make your team stronger for the final match, on the flip if you get beat mid-season you don't have much time to bring in a player or two to strengthen. Giving the same amount of time between each match would be better really.This has always been the case, even when the leagues were 8 teams. You also play the same teams in the same position. My team name is Michael Island (long story...) which puts me in 5th on the starting league table - I then ALWAYS face the first place team whenever I start 5th. No random draw, just positions on the starting table.You also play the same teams in the same position.
