Transfer Market - filter for salary?

Hi. I know I'm only fairly new but would still like to make a suggestion as I've been actively checking out and bidding on the transfer market for a couple of days now and one thing I've noticed is that the salary listed by players is invariably less than it is once you've bid on it and that's puzzling me. If it's not a true reflection, why is it listed? Does every player you bid on expect an immediate salary rise and if so can this not be included on the player's profiles you look at when deciding which player(s) to make a bid for?

Anyhow my suggestion and the reason I came here is this - how about a filter for salaries? There are quite a few options available I can see for various filters and maybe it's something I've not yet got to grips with but so far all the player's salaries seem quite high - 2.5k upwards (apart from the ones I'm selling myself) so would be nice to have an option to give a salary maximum you want to pay and see all players you can buy with that in mind. Especially for new players who have got a club membership and get money to help with transfers but who, at the same time, are well aware of keeping club costs down as much as possible so as not go to bankrupt! I would certainly find that a very useful feature indeed.

I don't know what others will think but as the forum said, this is for suggestions so I've made one. :)

It's a good idea but the one problem is that the salary is tied to how much the player is sold for (and possibly how many bids are made on that player). Because it's impossible for the computer to guess how much you are going to bid on a player, it may also be impossible filter on projected salary. There might be some sort of work around to this but that is the immediate issue I see.

Thanks for the feedback, smiller. I noticed it when I was the only bidder and bidding the minimum. It's true it shows the 'new' salary (higher usually as I said originally) which you can see before you actually confirm the bid but shouldn't it be the same in the bidding pane (or whatever it's called)as the normal profile you see you are scrolling through the players deciding which one, if any, you want to bid on? Or is this the same situation as what you are describing because I take it you're referring to the salary filter? I suppose both issues are part and parcel but the filter aside, this is still odd to me.
